Hey Hans, can you writhe a article about randle cycle and food combinations (carbs and fats)
I don't think you care about that much because you eat fat with your carb meals but i have hard time understanding what it is & does and if this is beneficial to keep an eye on it or not.
And if it is a bad idea to consume dietary fat with a meal of someone also take niacinamide and aspirin (because they are inhibit fatty acid oxidation)
Probably dietary fat in combination with this kind of supps will directly stored as bodyfat?

What happens when there is excess weight !? Caloric deficit would be good?
I would be very careful with caloric reduction in kids, they need energy reserves to launch puberty and growth. Being more fatty around age 10 can be normal. Friends of mine who were very lean had 2 boys who were pretty fat prepuperty, 10 years later they were tall and lean, they had grown out of their baby fat. Look out for good food quality and variation/new foods but never reduce calories. Less stress and more sunshine can help too.

Sería muy cuidadoso con la reducción de calorías en los niños, necesitan reservas de energía para iniciar la pubertad y el crecimiento. Tener más grasa alrededor de los 10 años puede ser normal. Amigos míos que eran muy delgados tenían 2 niños que eran bastante gordos y prepuciosos, 10 años después eran altos y delgados, habían crecido con su grasa de bebé. Busque alimentos de buena calidad y variación / nuevos, pero nunca reduzca las calorías. Menos estrés y más sol también pueden ayudar.
Muchas gracias Michael, si tiene exactamente 10 años, es alto y alto con muñecas gruesas pero creo que tiene mucha grasa abdominal porque va a ser muy alto.

I managed to have both Peaty and non-Peaty foods during puberty, back then I didn't know much about hormones/nutrition in-depth but luckily had animal products, however at like age of 16 I often fasted too much as I noticed it made me feel lighter/with more mental clarity/energy, looking back at it, it might have had been due to my mast cells maybe or just cortisol, luckily I ended up 190cm tall but I have kind of thinnish frame and I am 20 now, idk if you can still get denser bones in 20s

Which growths still can occur in your 20s? Can for example your clavicles, ribcage get wider or your face skull change and become more androgenic? I have been obsessively biohacking/eating well/exercising/sunbathing/optimizing sleep/supplementating since I found Peat at 19 and my muscle mass has gotten more defined and my beard seems to grow slightly better and I have more energy/libido but at same time I feel like I might have slightly blunted potential androgenic development in face as despite rest of my body looking adult-like my face has this boyish type of look to it

Your developmental phase goes until 25 and even beyond if you had a delay. I wouldn't worry, especially if you've learned some Peat principles you have more control over your health than 99.999% of everybody else. You face will look adult soon enough. Calcium, glycine and vitamin D & K are the most important nutrients for bone growth. Activities like climbing and in general sports (I like basketball and Bjj for androgenic stimulation) will stimulate bone growth. In your 20s you should focus on your professional skills and your social network, this will be your main tools to success. Looks and girls will fall in place naturally.

how does social network help in 20s, like with getting jobs you mean?
does calcium, vitamin d etc help with organ and gland growth? so bigger brain, bigger p, etc?
also the vitamin k, supplement form causes hair loss if its taken repeatedly or high doses... the mk4 K2 form at least.. and supposedly K1/MK7 are 5 AR inhibitors.

Nah, today there're less opportunities for young man to socialise like church, clubs, fraternities etc. Everything is geared towards inclusivity, which means "No Men" allowed but womyn, minority and consumerism only stuff. You don't need a Tim Ferris like network but some friends you share a passion with and professional contacts that help you advancing.

but K1, you have to convert that to K2 how do you know your absorbing any K1 and that its getting into K2 ?
since blood flows key does that mean blood thinners are key? so aspirin, vitamin e, progesterone, thin blood and help?
pregnenolone is the most poisonous supplement ive ever tried as a male in 20s... i used pure encapsulations brand which is supposed to be some of the purest on the market. just 10 days of 50mg a day caused massive hair loss, ball shrinkage, and even 12 pounds of weight gain, mostly fat. dried out my eyes a ton too. id say its by far the most damaging thing ive ever used... more than any pufa. I could eat probably 50 grams pufa, everyday straight for 10 days and i wouldnt gain any weight or lose any hair. or take 50mg iron supplements daily for 10 days and minimal side effects.

When I take large doses of aspirin chronically, I start bruising and eating parsley raw (or boiled in water, sodium bicarbonate and butter) instantly reverses bruising but K2 supps don't. I think pregnenolone is one of the greatest supplements for me, sorry for your experience. The only thing pure in Pure Encapsulation is the word pure in the brand name. They tend to put tons od fillers in it. Health natura, suchlabs and idealabs are the only suppliers I trust with pregnenolone.

I am not from USA but Latvia (Eastern-Northern Europe/Baltic States) so I think it's not the same as in USA, but yeah I have some friends/contacts with whom I share similar interests/passions

pure encapsulations is zero fillers man, its a vegetable cellulose capsule and thats it. thats why i paid extra for it. they supposedly do extensive testing on their products. I think its believable since only the pricier supplement companies like thorne and pure encapsulations talk about their extensive testing process/standards and quality. if it was so easy to lie about it you should see near every supplement company talking about their testing.
K2 isnt really for blood clotting, have you compared to K1 supplements? K1 is more strong a blood clotter

Yeah, pregnenolone caused me to grow hair on my knuckles and hands after only about 3-4 weeks of the recommended 50mg daily.

Peat says the preg itself cannot do anything bad, so it must have had a hell of a lot of impurities then. I did use it close to the bottle's expiry date though, so maybe that had an effect.

i think he admitted in a recent podcast, maybe few months back with haidut that its possible the pregnenolone could be converted to estrogen by bacteria in the air, as well as have estrogens in it due to the manufacturing process. Peat himself said he stopped using pregnenolone entirely since like back in 1980. whatever these side effects are, even Peat himself stopped preg in the 80s due to noticing side effects from it. he said he doesnt recommend it. he does still recommend progesterone. and progesterone doesnt cause the same effects for me as pregnenolone although ive only tried it in lower doses of 6mg compared to the 50mg+ pregnenolone.
thats odd it caused knuckle and hand hair growth. are you male or female? do you think that signifies it lowered your metabolism?

ah yeah with pure encapsulations some of their products use fillers like ascorbyl palmitate. i think they are strongly against magnesium stearate and maybe silica but some products will have fillers like ascorbyl palmitate or cellulose. some of their products only use a vegetable cellulose capsule though.
ah I thought Peat just worded it vitamin K and left it open ended? i think they know that K1 is the primary blood clotter, with K2 you just have to hope it converts partially to K1 or clots blood but it probably wont do much. K2 is supposedly more about bone/calcium. K1 can supposedly also convert to K2.

We have three kids at home (13 (girl), 12 (boy), 10 (boy)) and one out.

We've implemented many of these but the organ meats (of course – that's been
tough even for us parents).

We emphasize milk, eggs and other dairy products like greek yogurt and quality
chocolate pudding because the price to "nutrient density" ratio is
outstanding.

Good organic fruit can be pricey but we are decently stocked. Fruits take up a
lot of shopping cart space as well and many times just get thrown out so I'm
not as enthusiastic about that category.

We've found medjool dates to be a great,
nutrient-dense-small-shopping-cart-footprint fruit but only one kid likes
them.

Nothing compares to the price/benefit of quality (local) whole milk versus
fruit juice. I can buy three half-gallons of milk for one organic half-gallon
of concord grape juice for example. That said, I keep a hawk-like look out for
sales on fruit juice.

We do have access (New England USA) to quality apple cider during most of the
year. That said, a surprising number of local "quality" ciders have potassium
sorbate.

Quality OJ is pricey but we'll mix small amounts with seltzer water. Enough
that they can get their essentials. Actually, we do the seltzer mix (we have a
soda stream) with all the fruit juices.

We still do a good amount of refined grains and pork because it helps them
to eat their eggs, beef, and poultry.

We purchase pastured raised eggs but it can be a challenge to get them to eat
them daily without providing sausage, bacon and/or toast. Sometimes they can
can get a bowl of cereal after they finish their eggs.

At dinner they're not going to eat their burger unless it is on a bun (we have
recently implemented sprouted wheat buns though). Likewise, chicken will not
get eaten unless it is sandwiched in flour tortillas (chicken quesadilla with
cheddar cheese is a favorite). We do a homemade pizza but with a generous
amount of ground beef on top.

Of course they go over to friends' homes, we sometimes eat out, are invited over
to other homes for meals, and have family eating "events" so we do our best.

It is a work in progress for sure (for us and the kids).
