hair loss aside. can't deny that extra dopamine is nice. i think it's a sort of spectrum. you have the lucky ones on one side who feel little to no effects in perception from climax and then the highly unlucky ones who suffer from POIS. i seem to be in the middle. 2 weeks seems right on the dot for me.

Sex is better than masturbation, as it increases testosterone while the other lowers it. Masturbation may be better before bed, as prolactin release then lines up with sleep. Ejaculation is also associated with sensitized estrogen and progesterone receptors. 100 mg B6 P-5'-P, zinc, and a regular multivitamin stack may blunt the rise in prolactin. Less estrogen = less prolactin, though in this case, estrogen is associated with healing and protection.

uhm, it's from a book called Peace Between the Sheets, I think it's also found in Cupid's Poisoned Arrow. Marnia Robinson is the author. Her husband Gary Wilson also has a lot to say on the detrimental effects of pornography.

Which studies do the authors of those books reference when sharing that chart?

hi guys elephanto isnt around these days so i just wanted to ask a few questions regarding his stack of supps

for decalfication, he advises high doses for mag, k2, msm and taurine. but he doesnt say how long we need to do this for. except for the mag, where he says to take a high dose for a few months then drop down to maintenance doses

does this apply the other supplements too?

im confused about how long we need to use these high dose supps for. is it just a few months for everyone? or only a few months for people with relatively minor hair loss

and guys with more hair loss need to carry on taking these high doses until all your hair has grown back?

or is the decalification period the same for everyone? so after a few months, the calification has gone, but depending how bad your hair loss, you now just need to wait until your hair comes back

sorry if this sounds like a jumbled mess lol

I think it varies with each person but I think he says like 6 Months it took him. But you will know if your scalp is done with calcification. Your hair would start growing back in those areas and the bumps on your scalp would be gone. Even if your scalp is decalfcifoed maybe you should continue the MSM k2 and mag but in a lower dosage as they are beneficial in other ways. Taurine not so much bc he says it stimulates something that increases prolactin that leads to hairloss

yeh i plan to keep taking these supps in general health doses to prevent further calcification. im just wondering how long i need to take the high dose ones for. like im very bald like nw5, so im guessing its gonna take a while for me to regrow my hair but is it safe to take these high doses for 1/2 year plus.

and whether i even need to. this is what i was wondering. do i only need to take them for a few months then drop down to normal doses and just have to wait for the hair to come back. or i do i need to take high doses until full regrowth

damn i wish ele would come back to clarify lol

also @blueorca i think ele said it took him about a year to get his regrowth, but he only took high dose mag for a few months (not sure about the other supps)

thats what im confused about. do you only need to take the supps for a few months and then simply wait for your hair to come back. or do you wait for your hair to come back and then lower the doses?

Honestly I'm not sure also. I hope he comes back but in his absence we should try to do more research. I'm sure he didnt just come to these conclusions by himself

Have you read all the replies in the thread? Pretty sure a couple of people who followed elephanto’s advice stopped for whatever reason. No one (as far as I’m aware) reported anything positive from it in terms of hair regrowth.

No, I think bicarbonate sodium is an essential component of the stack that gave me regrowth. Though baking soda seems to have a more potent anti-endotoxin effect than sparkling water. Still should aim for constant controlled breathing.

While most of this gold. Most of what you said is probably true in regards to no fap.

Sodium bi carbonate is probably the best thing I’ve done. As is L-THEANINE.

so, baking soda + l-theanine best things you've taken to help hair?

Comment did you take bicarbonate @Amarsh213 if I can ask? One teaspoon with warm water?

After further investigation it is more to do with acidity.

The body buffers this with calcium leeching from the bones. The excess calcium is deposited in the small capillaries of the body.

Acididic Meat/Grains/protein=Cortisol and calcium leeching-Tyrtophan-Fibrosis-Calcification...etc. All the Downstim effects

This below describes hairloss better than anything I've ever read

"Acid-base balance in the body influences adrenal hormone production of cortisol. When bicarbonate [HCO3- levels are low, the kidneys upregulate glutaminase activity and trigger cortisol production [35-37]." "Dietary induction of acidosis increases serum cortisol concentrations [38]."

"Cortisol activates the tryptophan metabolism pathway which is carried out by rate-limiting enzymes of tryptophan catabolism, 2,3-dioxygenase (TDO) and indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO). Cortisol directly stimulates TDO activation and may augment IDO activity indirectly through inflammatory cytokine signaling such as interferon gamma [49,50]. Excessive or chronic cortisol production acquired from a ‘Western’ dietary lifestyle could play a role in augmenting the tryptophan metabolism pathway and drive downstream molecular events that promote carcinogenesis."

"Upregulated cortisol bioactivity driven by diet-induced acidosis may be a factor in metabolic syndrome by promoting insulin resistance. Chronic hyperglucocorticoidism upregulates visceral obesity while reducing insulin sensitivity mainly in visceral adipocytes which appear to be more responsive to cortisol than subcutaneous adipocytes due to higher expression levels of glucocorticoid receptors [58,59]."

So how do we avoid high acidity?
Start Here "The Primary Sources Of Acidity In The Diet Are Sulfur-containing AAs, Salt, And Phosphoric Acid"

Essentially high protein/salt/phosurus must be neutralized equally with large amounts of greens/fruits.

'The parathyroid hormone (PTH) is an important regulator of calcium metabolism. If dietary calcium isn't sufficient, causing blood calcium to decrease, the PTH increases, and removes calcium from bones to maintain a normal amount in the blood. PTH has many other effects, contributing to inflammation, calcification of soft tissues, and decreased respiratory energy production.'

So Peats right about:

Milk is better than meat
Fruit is better than starch
Salt to taste-NOT more
Grains are a death sentince
lactic acid is bad on yogurt
protein is good-yes it is, but you need alkaline minerals

Peats Wrong:
Coffee is good-(Coldbrew is better. Even danny roddy puts baking soda in his regular coffe now)
Veggies are bad-(Peaters need alot more veggies)
Cheese is good(low acidic cheese is)

Ok thanks @Amarsh213 so dissolve bicarbonate soda with apple cider vinegar maybe? Do you feel real benefits with three /four bicarb teaspoon per day?
