@Hans do you use a lot of black cumin, ashwaganha, and gugglesterone?
I use black cumin relatively regularly. Ashwagandha is in my pre-workout, so I use that about every other day. I haven't used guggle and don't think I will since I'm not hypo.

@Hans
Thanks for sharing this.
I’ve been curious about black cumin for a while but concerned re PUFA- you mention in the article that there’s an extract you can use instead but it appears that the link is missing- perhaps not available anymore? Let us know if there’s one you e found to be helpful. Thought I’d just check.
Here it is, I must have forgotten to add the link.
I have tried both the powder and the oil, and don't notice a difference between the two.

hans, do you think that in people with hypothyroidism calcium supplementation can be detrimental to thyroid recovery?

after stopping calcium I got a lot more energy and was recovering from past things quickly, after reintroducing everything went back to normal

I heard it reduces copper absorption

Did you supplement it? Which supplement did you use? Did you use it in a 2:1 ratio with magnesium?

that company iirc standardizes it just for thymoquinione but the seeds/oil actually have many quinones and interesting compounds
this company specializes specifically in black seed Black Seed Oil Specialist | 100% Pure & Cold-Pressed | Free worldwide shipping
the products arent organic, but they do also have lots of thymoquinone. they claim not to do any extracts, that they simply choose higher quality seeds which have higher amounts of essential oils/thymoquinine and other quinones...?

the oil could probably be more useful if looking to avoid the fibers of the seeds. seeds maybe could have a pesticide issue if not organic too, whereas with oil the husks/seeds would maybe be filtered out?

regarding the article @Hans good stuff especially the supplement recommendations, I had seen celery supplement products by life extension and others years back and was debating whether to order

regarding "bright light" do you mean any kind of bright light, or it needs to be iridiscent/red light? Someone recently posted an email response from Peat and he mentioned he has some light shining over his head on his workstation. It didnt mention what kind of light.

regarding celery, would celery seed extract work like in this product, or does it need to be celery leaf/fruit extract!

also there seem to be lots of complaints with celery consumption, or even touching, for some people, causes a photo sensitivity effect and causes rashes? some people just touching it can do it on the hands, some people consuming it makes them photo sensitive. i dont know if its related to latex allergies, or if its something that only occurs with non organic celery products.

Bright white light (sun, incandescent or halogen) is what I'd prefer. Red light would be too hard on the eyes if there are no other light in the room.

Not sure, because the study didn't say which extract the person used. But it was 4g of the extract.

That is definitely something to be cautious of.

seeds usually arent liked but maybe celery seed is special and low in pufa

hey mate to clarify, you dont think the black seed oil is a big deal in terms of pufa, if youre taking like a 500mg black seed oil capsule daily?
I think it is mostly mufa, maybe 15% pufa and 15% sfa

Not much to say here, except, this post is about identifying hypothyroid symptoms and resolving them.

What has helped you the most with resolving your thyroid issues?
Hello Hans,
Thanks for this. I love your work and watch many of your videos. I’m wondering if you or your wife will be doing more work on women’s health. That would be a great source and help for us.

One question I have regarding this particular article. Do you know if black seed has adverse side effects on kidneys? Can it exacerbate proteinuria, for instance?

It'd would be pretty good, given that you were also feeling energetic, warm and optimistic.
That wasn’t me, I just asked a question because my husband has a low heart rate. And he always feels very warm, especially his hands.

My wife is planning on creating content on women's health in the future for sure.
Black cumin is only beneficial for the kidney.
N. sativa and its main component, thymoquinone showed positive effects in prevention or curing kidney stones and renal failure through various mechanism such as antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, anti-eicosanoid and immunomodulatory effects. (R)

do you think this ratio is important? with my dietary calcium at 3400 and my dietary magnesium at 400 id have to supplement 1300 mg of magnesium, and im unsure if thatd break the flood gates or not
