Progesterone supplementation is different with women. I'm not sure why. Progesterone can cause hair loss in both men and women, but it's more common in women from what I've researched. If it wasn't causing you to lose hair, I would keep at it and stick with the dosage that worked for you. There is also always the possibility that a shed can be a regrowth shed.

How's it going for you with Prog? Still doing 100mg/day? How's your hair?

I don't get nearly as many erections OFF Prog, as I did ON Prog, and it seems I don't get morning wood as often and/or has 'hard' as before.

Hair wise I'm not sure what is going on... I shed a lot in shower, but I do anyways.

I have the urge to hop back on Prog. The libido effects and erection boosting effects are real.

I wanted to see how going off prog affects my hair. I also went OFF all stimulants at the same time. Caffeine 200mg mostly, and ephedrine sometimes. If anything my erection quality should have gotten better not worse.

it's difficult to notice the effect after taking it so long, I honestly almost don't notice it anymore
Seems to be neutral for libido but I take DHEA just in case anyway

Hair seems to be getting thicker. The process is very very slow though. I also doubled my daily caloric intake to put on some weight and increased my sugar intake a lot. Both seemed to have helped my hair. I cut caffeine as well. Not completely, but I don't drink coffee anymore. I feel as if it made my skin oily.

I'm almost positive my hair is certainly thicker towards the back of the top of my scalp, and I think maybe I'm seeing some progress on my hairline, but I'm not sure yet.

Libido and sex are still amazing. I feel like I'm in my teens again. I'm not going to stop taking it because of that effect alone.

Are you taking video/pictures of your hair/head to keep track of progress at all? It may be a good idea for you and I both to do this.

Are you still using 100mg/day split up into divided doses throughout the day, put into your mouth directly, right? 20mg x 5 times a day? I think you explained previously how you were using it exactly and which dosages but just want to see what the latest and greatest update is.

Last thing, what's your diet look like? I am so lost with this stuff right now.

P.S, may be TMI, but I have stopped looking at porn, and masturbating at all (unless gf does it and/or sex) a few weeks ago. Feels great.

I dose about 30 drops a day. I'll do 10 in the morning, 10 around 4pm and then 10 more before I go to bed around midnight. I apply it to my forearms and let it absorb that way. I haven't been taking pictures, but I should probably start.

I eat a lot of the same foods everyday, but I also tend to eat whatever I feel like. I absolutely avoid fried and oily foods. They have always made me feel like ***t. My diet is a lot cleaner than the average person's. I eat lots of avocados, fruit, chicken, rice, gluten free pasta, Peat's carrot salad, I make sure I get a certain amount of sugar everyday, nuts, tomatoes, mushrooms. Basically, I try to stick to basic foods. Things that are easy for my body to digest. I avoid processed stuff as much as possible. I practically never eat it other than the occasional taco bell haha can't help it sometimes. Right now I'm focusing mainly on reversing the calcification in my scalp as I'm pretty sure that's what has caused my hair loss. I think the calcification compromises cellular function in those areas which results in excess sebum/skin. Circulation is also obviously affected. My goal is to focus on optimal calcium utilization with magnesium, vitamin d, vitamin A (Peat's carrot salad) and vitamin k. I also take a very basic multivitamin, DrFormula's hairomega vitamins, acetyl l-carnitine and alpha lipoic acid. I'm hoping that I've finally found the sweet spot. I'm losing less hair so fingers crossed it keeps working.

I dosed 10 drops of prog on my forearms a few hrs ago. I was feeling weird, slightly depressed before, now in a great mood. :)

Gluten free pasta is good for you? I've cut out starchy carbs from Pasta/Bread/pizza,etc... but I realize I need more carbs. Yes I eat lots of veggies... but having gluten free pasta (i.e from rice, corn, etc) would be easy to do.

How often do you eat gluten free pasta if you don't mind me asking?

Do you lift weights? workout?

I literally eat the same things, daily.

I make a big soup, with a 500g bag of frozen veggies thrown in. 4-5-6 extra large eggs thrown in. Mushroom broth for flavor. The base is a canned Pea soup and lard. Salt, pepper and lots of cayenne. I also eat a decent amount of canned tuna. Oysters. Olives. Not much else.... lol.

Day 2 on @xetawaves protocol of using 10 drops x3 times a day on forearms. (HealthNatura prog)

Feeling VERY relaxed, but also was in a terrific mood at the same time! (Does this effect last???)

I am liking this 3x times a day dosing so far.

P.S xeta you may like this video ( it's Vegan, but this guy knows his ***t and makes a strong case, talks about paleo, etc, too and why it's garbage. )

Day 3 on 100mg used topically on forearms, 3x a day.

Seems like I am shedding more hair if I gently pull at my hair over the skin, compared to NOT being on Prog.

Slightly concerned... although I lost more hair when on stims, still.

@xetawaves you had this as well to start on 100mg, right? Shedding at first then it slowed/stopped?

My face is changing right now, seems like it's becoming plumper/rounder (water weight?!) and skin seems nicer.

I've been eating a bunch of carrots for vitamin a and it has seemed to help with sebum. I listened to a Peat interview last night and he was talking about how the retinas in our eyes use lots of vitamin a and the more light you're around, the more a you need. He also said that healthier individuals need more A because they use it up so fast. I have poor vision and I wonder if my eyes are using lots of A from strain. I found it interesting because vitamin A deficiency is related to increased sebum and acne. I'm going to buy an A supplement and see what happens.

He said he fell asleep under a bright light one night and woke up to some pimples starting on his face. He took A and it quickly cleared up. His retinas were responding to the light and using his vitamin A.

Maybe this is why a lot of gamers lose their hair?

Astaxanthin, Lutein, Zeaxanthin are the ***t. (I take 12mg of Astaxanthin a day, it's great for giving your skin a nice orange healthy color). Lutein/Zea as well but Astax is the strongest I believe. Carotenoids not sunbeds make you more attractive

Back on the topic of Vitamin A... I've heard acetate is the best form to use. I am trying to get away from using more supplements, but perhaps I need to revisit Vitamin A, too.

As far as my shedding since starting progesterone goes, it's random. I think at this point I don't think I shed more than any normal person would. Some days I shed more and some days I feel like I barely shed at all. I see around 2o hairs in the shower every morning on average. I remember shedding pretty bad when I started puberty, but my hair didn't start receding til I was 21.

you should try thyroid supplements with it.
