" This is a late stage empire on its inevitable trajectory."

I don't buy this at all. It's too deterministic. Who knows what hightech cards America has up it's sleeves? And as Catherine Austin Fitts says, there are really 2 economies--hi and low tech--and the hightech sector is doing well. The black budget for such things is huge. Trump is a cunning, wiley, smart player. He'll assess the cards we hold and play them adroitly, thinking big.

"All indications are we are rolling over into a severe recession right now and there are no policy tools available to ameliorate it. Trump keeps talking nonsense about massive infrastructure spending and tax cuts. That is simply not going to happen because there is no more money. It was all wasted already."

This idea that there's nothing we can do is false. The book The Public Bank Solution by Ellen Brown, which I researched and edited, gives a recipe for economic miracles. You inject the credit needed. You plan and work with business. Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China have all done it. National Socialist Germany did it and pulled itself out of apparent economic perdition to prosperity in 5 years while most of the banker-occupied West remained mired in depression. (WWI and II were, as Churchill attested, economic wars to destroy the economic/industrial might of Germany. (and Japan!)). China has become so wealthy doing this, it is buying up the world. 'Golden Era': China's Global Triumphant March Prompts Panic in West

I am a bit familiar with Fitts's work and while she makes good points about specific issues of corruption in the American political system, she comes off as naive about the broader sweep of history.

Western Industrialism is not failing because it needs some managerial tweaks and some new policy ideas. It is failing because of declining energy affordability. Empires expand while expansion nets more and more energy to the total system. Historically before the industrial revolution this was grain and pasture. Conquer neighboring lands until limits are reached. Then eventually at some point the total available energy actually starts to decline, because of climate change or topsoil depletion or political strife or another resource contraint, and then the complicated imperial structures built up start to falter and fail. The empire slowly falls apart.

I am a peak oil guy. The last 100 years of history are fundamentally about oil. The political and economic order we live in is based on massive amounts of cheap oil. There is no realistic technological solution for the declining oil supply because technology is not energy. Nothing like solar or wind or nuclear comes close to oil. Nobody has any serious solutions that pass napkin level mathematical analysis for our political structures to continue as they have. It's like telling the Mayans when the maize crops first failed, Oh you should just switch to solar and windmills. Not gonna happen. Maybe I'm wrong and a crash program of space based solar with microwave relays to earth would work, for example, but I'm doubtful.

I would refer people interested in this subject to the following blogs:

The stark reality of the next 50 years is declining living standards. On its own this would be a manageable problem, but by and large people cannot accept this state of affairs and do violent and stupid things rather than deal with reality in a rational way.

It's all perfectly coherent to me. The hegelian dialectics at play perhaps escape your grasp? What piece isn't a clear position?

"Burn the books, we don't need democracy!" Right, because angry mobs of citizens and soldiers have never historically burned down libraries or anything.

A woman from the Alt Right Group, right? "The alt right is a brave movement"

Here is a little bit more from the famous alt right people:
While the label of white nationalism is disputed by some political commentators including Allum Bokhari and Milo Yiannopoulos,[37] prominent alt-right figures such as Andrew Anglin of The Daily Stormer and Jazzhands McFeels of Fash the Nation have embraced the term as the core philosophy their movement is based on.[38][39] In response to a Washington Post article that portrayed the movement as "offensiveness for the sake of offensiveness", Anglin said "No it isn't. The goal is to ethnically cleanse White nations of non-Whites and establish an authoritarian government. Many people also believe that the Jews should be exterminated."[40][41]

So you actually believe that the lovely Mexican American girl in the video is a white nationalist?

Did you even listen to what she said?

You are making her point.

You post some weird paragraph about people like Milo clearly written by an SJW. Milo has sex with black men. He's not a neo-nazi. But again, SJW's don't want to talk with facts. They actually can't debate someone like Milo because they are not even on his level.

"Alt right" means different things. Just like liberal, progressive, regressive, conservative etc., mean different things. And again, the paragraph you posted doesn't speak for all people who like any part of the "alt right."

There is no irony. She is awesome. She gets it. Just because she's a "POC" and female, doesn't mean she has to be a victim, SJW, feminist crazy person and I'm glad "POC" females like her are speaking out so that the other ones like her won't back down from "alt left" wackjobs.

sorry i don`t get you POC or SJW (i am not american) and i was just pointing to an Ironie i see. If you don´t.... fine. It is like you cannot argue about taste. And if you see no problem to promote the alt right movement here... also fine.
And so it is to post some facts about it as i did.

And this:

Thanks Birdie, that is apt.

This soviet defector was interviewed in 1984 when the Soviet Union was still operating. He described how Useful Idiots can destabilize a Nation to bring about a revolution but after the Revolution they will be required no longer. They will be a liability and they will be liquidated.

We saw this with gays in the SA supporting Hitler's rise. Soon the SS wiped them out.

We saw this in Iran - the socialists helped to bring down the Shah, only to be killed by the Islamists.

We can see this happening today in Europe. The Useful Idiots have defended Islam while Sweden has become the rape capital of the world.

In Paris almost 100 concert goers tortured and killed in the Bataclan massacre. A year later Sting reopens the venue singing Islamic prayers.

The Useful Idiots will continue to defend Islam until all traces of Christianity are destroyed and Sharia Law is implemented. Then all the homosexuals, feminists and atheists will be rounded up and decapitated.

Trump's election victory has poured water on the Useful Idiots in the US in a bid to return the US to the Land of the Free. The Idiots should be grateful but of course are blind to what has occurred.

How can they be so stupid?

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools

Yes, he says he thinks vaccines are useful, but more simple ones need to be developed. Mentions the horse shot sized ones given to infants. I think his approach is clever in that he doesn't entirely condemn but speaks out about the dangers in present vaccines. Maybe this approach would get the drug companies interested in lower dose and single dose which would be a start.

I didn't say that nobody knows who they are; with some effort you can do a little research and find out for yourself. What I am trying to say is that the information we are force fed on a front page google search or a youtube recommended video is not the truth but intended to hide the truth with disinformation.

“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.”
Former CIA Director William Casey.

LOL, could be.

I think @amethyst put it well

Thanks Quee, you're not so bad yourself ;) Your comments I mean.

LOL, I had to look up who that was. No, not related to them. Why do you ask?
It's uncommon to see a woman with your political references.
