it's a "rope worm" aka delusional parasitosis. It's inner lining of the intestines.

Since you are good to lift it onto the toilet seat and take pictures of it, maybe you should wash it down and try to see if it has any structure? Maybe cut it in two and look at the cross section? But almost certainly it is what internet calls rope worm.

I agree with your basic premise here - if one really examines what comes out of one's back end; one can see all kinds of blobs, stringlike things, clumps, mucus strands, etc etc that look like what people photograph and call "worms" or "parasites". I think unscrupulous 'alternative' health care practitioners capitalize on this to sell all kinds of potions and remedies.

I'm sure there are bonafide cases of intestinal worms/parasites but not one strange looking blob.

Pinworm, for instance, presents as the eggs on the outside of the anus and are very itchy. You would see little white dots.
