I should clarify that the magnesium I was taking wasn't pure malate, but a mix of malate, citrate, and glycinate. I'll see how I go with only malate.
Thanks for that heads-up @charlie, I'll be getting some Lipo thiamine and benfotiamine and trying them out for a month or two (alongside magnesium - 100mg B1 to 150mg Magnesium if I'm correct). Question: Is there a lipothiamine brand you'd recommend, because the only one I can track down is the Cardiovascular Research Ltd. brand and that has a staggering amount of potentially bad added ingredients.
