@haidut I know you don’t recommend taking pansterone, andro, and this together, but either pansterone/6 keto or andro/6 keto. I’m taking my pansterone/androsterone every other day these days. Would it be possible to do 6 keto at night on the days I don’t do pansterone/andro, as an alternative to cyproheptadine? Or is that still too much?

@haidut - I noticed the solvent has changed from ethyl acetoacetate to euganol. Why was the switch made and does the euganol work just as well/or better than the previous solvent? The reason I ask is because in your original article you did mention the difficulty in dissolving the 6-keto P4. My apologies if you already answered this.

@schultz I had the previous version and the 6-keto-p4 dried and solidified outside of the bottle. The newer version does not do this. The eugenol is much better as a solvent for this compound.

Testosterone, preoptic dopamine, and copulation in male rats. - PubMed - NCBI

Finally, blocking nitric oxide synthase in intact males blocked the copulation-induced release of dopamine in the MPOA. Therefore, one means by which testosterone may promote copulation is by upregulating nitric oxide synthesis in the MPOA, which in turn enhances dopamine release.

Theres another study where they castrated rats and gave them testosterone. These rats did not get the nitric oxide release in the medial preoptic area which is needed for libido and sex drive. But when they administered estrogen along with the testosterone it did and sex drive normalized. Couldnt find the study atm but if you really want to i can dig it out for you.

basically you are right testosterone is needed for libido and erections. But estrogen and nitric oxide is also needed. Nitric oxide is a neurotransmitter aswell and not only vasodialator for the penis.
If you look at how viagra works it works more by releasing nitric oxide in the mpoa which causes increase sex drive than it does increasing vasodilation. Basically viagras action is in the brain through nitric oxide. And so is testosterone and estrogen. They are all needed for healthy libido.
Why do you think aromatase inhibitors block erection capacity. Its so effective that if you block estrogen enough viagra also stops working. And all those functions have actions in the mpoa in the brain. And estrogens just like testosterone also work by releasing nitric oxide in the brain.

aromatase enzyme is needed for males to be able to get erections. If you dont convert testosterone to estrogen in the brain you wont be able to have erections. This is how AIs are libido killers
Blockade of Testosterone-Induced Mounting Behavior in the Male Rat with Intracranial Application of the Aromatization Inhibitor, Androst-l,4,6-triene-3,17-dione
I also recently read a study which concluded that if you have low T or low E, you are likely to have sexual function problems, seems like you need both or you are gonna have a bad time.

yeah theres several studies showing that even in Low T/castrated animals that injection of estrogen restored sex drive and erection function. Aromatase is very important for sexual function. Its found in high amounts in the brain. Im pretty certain that good healthy fat levels (increasing aromatase) is just a signal to the animal to reproduce and that starvation is over. Would make sense that when you’re starving fat goes down, aromatse goes down. The organism does not prioritize reproduction anymore. Even if you T levels are sufficient you wont convert enough to estrogen. Once the body gain some weight aromatase increase and and sex function is restored.
Imo estrogen is much more important for sex drive than testosterone. If you can castrate animals and inject them with estrogen and sexual function starts working again. That means estrogen is responsible. You dont convert estrogen to test. But if tou give exemestane high enough and kill estrogen. There is nothing that can fix sex drive again. Not even viagra or more testosterone do anything at that point. Viagra doesnt work in estrogen deficient animals. What does that tell you? Low T men have fatigue, joint pain, low libido because of estrogen deficiency. Low T and Low E go hand in hand. Once you give them TRT obviously their E will go up. T is the precursor.
Now this is not me telling everyone we should maximize out E. I certainly believe as it is with everything with biology that you can have too much or too little. If you are fat overweight, inflammation etc. You likely have higher E and low T since aromatase is increased. If you starving, low T etc you likely have too low T and E. Think 20-30 in E2 is somewhere optimal and T above mid range. My E always sort of reflected my T. If I had high totalt T my total E tends to be high etc. Makes sense. DHT and E is what gives men positive feelings. Dont even believe T has that much effect other than precursor to those two. Imo best thing here is just be healthy and dont try to interfere with your aromatase, 5-ar, gonad function too much. Specially without blood tests. The body knows what it doing. People interfereing will just worsen ther libido issues generally.

After a month I didn’t get noticeably cortisol lowering benefit with PanSterone alone. Recently added 6KP plus Pan and that’s a combination that works wonders. Results (subjective) in just two days. Main benefits flatter belly and somewhat better sleep.

Thank you so much, the reason I asked is that I bought new formula of pansterone and Its not working like before so I am trying to find why. Keto progesterone is awesome and feel Věry good after taking IT.

No prob.

I'm new so I have only ever known/had access to the most current pansterone formulation.

Topical application of eugenol pansterone...4 drops- provided improved smoother skin. I think hair was improved as well.

Yet, still felt sorta "pudgy" in midsection.

Did some reading here about 6KP....a week ago started the recommended ratio of Pan+6KP and the first noticeable result is the nice firm midsection.

Oh, and I think metabolism has also increased.

I still hate the lingering smell of eugenol, but with results like this, its a minor inconvenience at this point.

I know the feeling.

I don't think I've tried 6-keto alone.

Better results with a single drop of 6-keto?

I've tried this 5 different times. I always get incredible results strength wise but after a few days I always get pain in my knees. What could be the reason for this and is there something I could do about it?
I'm doing between 4-8 drops before bed.
As the results are so good I really wanna continue but the knee pain ***** up with my squatting.

Possibly due to low estrogen.

Anyone have any thoughts if this would help with someone suffering from a recent traumatic loss of a family member?

I used two bottles last summer/fall and I also had really good results. Interestingly I could do way more workouts (volume) than normal without getting sore. So it actually prevented me from experiencing soreness. I took 10 drops per day. 5 morning, 5 at night. I'd use it again but it's expensive and I don't want to spend the money right now, but I would like to see if I can get the same results again or if it was a "fluke".

Is there any issue with combining this with say 100mch of lisuride and 0.5mg of cyproheptadine?

I'm trying to get a combo of lowering cortisol, raising dopamine and lowering serotonin.

I know Progestene and cypro can both thin the blood so I am weary of this combo but would perhaps sufficient vitamin K2 be enough to address this?

I take regular progesterone and it has certainly dampened all my emotional responses to everything.
