Can erection quality be effected more by Horny Goat Weed Icariin, slash Nitric Oxide Boosters ? Rather than stuff purported to raise T ? I’m not convinced these herbs raise T anyway

EQ could be affected by improved circulation through means other than NO. I don't know if herbs actually raise T because I don't have labs to prove it, but some can give me symptoms of that like increased strength, harder muscles, deeper voice, acne, etc.

BadMonkeysBotanicals has the worst reviews any supplement website can ever get on an insane amount of forums.

I wouldn't touch them with a stick, both for the absent customer service and the questionable quality.

Haven't tried them, only speaking from the humongous amount of dissing they receive.

I know what a top quality cistanche extract does for me (libido enhancing and very horny inducing), which I have previously purchased from this company: Pine Pollen Powder, Extracts, and Tinctures | RAW Forest Foods

Usually if a herbal company has real good stuff they specialise in just a few products. Like this one: Buy Reishi Extract He Shou Wu Cordyceps & More | Hyperion Herbs

These are the main two I’ve had success with.

So if badmonkeybotanicals ciatanche stacks up against the extract from rawforestfoods, I will know that I’m dealing with good stuff.

Haidut mentioned he was having success with the tribalus from a few posts and that’s why I’ve purchased from them (along with some cistanche to play with).

Oh well, I’ll give it a try at least.

My testosterone is fairly low, but the times it tested highest (mid range, upper 500s, as compared to high 200s), it was when I was using Tribulus. I can't pinpoint that it was just the TT, as I was doing other things, but TT was the only herb extract I was using, and the non-aromatisable DHEA metabolite that's talked about in this thread certainly gives a plausible explanation of how it could help raise T.

As the study below shows, TT was even more effective than Prozac (fluoxetine) in lowering CRH and especially cortisol (fluoxetine effect on cortisol was not significant). The effective doses used in the study seem high but this was plain TT powder, not an extract.

Are you sure of this? I looked at the study and it says:

“TTS was purchased from Hunan Sanwei Medical Technology Co. Ltd. (Hunan, China). The purity of Saponins was 80% .“

As they refer to it as TT Saponins throughout the study, and refer to 80% purity, I am interpreting that as 80% saponin content... which would be on par with an extract...

I have been taking the TT from Badmonkey’s and it 100% does have effects. I have also tried their maca extract now, and that also seems to have effects (which I have never gotten before from any previous maca products). In combination together (maca extract and TT) they are pushing libido higher then it has been for a while. The TT also provides a very unique and potent anti depressant effect for me, which I am enjoying very much. That could simply just be repressed androgens rising though, perhaps?

Anyway, I thought I’d update as one or two people in this thread started to rubbish badmonkeybotanicals but, so far, the quality of their products seem to be very good indeed. In fact, having tried many of the top herbal products online (I’ve pretty much tried most things now), I would say that the extracts I’ve tried so far with badmonkeys are right up there with anything else around in terms of quality. I mean, you can just tell by the dense and fruity smell of these powders as you open the pouch. They smell like super concentrated extracts. This isn’t 40% chalk or something lol

Many products on Amazon report high percentage of both constituents in the Tribulus. I cannot vouch for any, and I wonder if being sourced from China can technically mean it was just processed there.

I actually wrote to them and they said it was powder sold as plain dried herb, not an extract. The saponin contents was written on the bag but they did not test it. So, hard to say really. I am amazed a study like this would be done without verifying something as basic as how much saponins (presumably the active ingredients) are being given to the animals.
