Mustard seed, Onion and garlic for hair

Been hearing a lot recently that a formula of ground mustard seeds, onion, garlic and some carrier oils are legit regrowing hair. Is it worth the go? Has anyone ever tried it or has any thing to say about it? any useful topical for diffuse thinners? Thanks.

I'm diffuse thinner too although not too advanced.
