How to increase estrogen in a safe way? DHEA, boron?

This might be a strange question on here but I would like to hear your opinions on raising E2 levels in a safe way. I have a joint paint, low libido and not much of energy. All of these problems were probably caused by using Vitaming E, aspirin, AI and then my testing of several transdermal hormones - DHT, DHEA and testosterone.

After reading some threads on here I think there could be two options.

1) Oral DHEA 50 mg daily
2) Boron supplement

Do you have any experience with raising your estrogen levels?

Thanks

Following with interest as I was pondering estrogen today. I know there are different types, E1, E2, E3.

I know Ray's work is not about things being simple BAD or GOOD. I wondered if there are men out there who were in shape, mentally well, etc and actually had higher estrogen. What would the rest of the hormonal profile look like? They might not even be aware, or work out or get blood tests or anything.

It seems like cortisol and prolactin are the 'worst', but again, they obviously have a use to keep us alive in some way.

Why would you want to increase estrogen????

If you're just hankering to experience it first hand, simply do something that increases inflammation! Have some PUFA!! Get sunburned!!! Smash your hand with a hammer!!!!

Seriously, anything that increases inflammation increases estrogen. Every cell in your body can make it. The goal is to minimize it not to increase it.

You want to raise estrogen levels safely? Say less.

1) Go through a rough breakup.
2) Get a stressful job.

I recommend looking into getting your levels checked before trying to raise estrogen. You don't want to become an accidental femboy.

If you are healthy and everything else works, then your body should regulate estrogen correctly. Do not try to 'increase' it, just eat well so your body increases it itself if need be

I recommend getting a topical product, there is a cream on Amazon that doesn't have any yucky ingredients and has Estriol and Estradiol. Apply to thin-skinned areas...

I guess the question is - is your E2 low because you don't aromatise a lot or you don't have much androgens to aromatise from?
If it's the latter then it's just asking for a bad estrogens/androgens ratio and estrogen dominance symptoms.

I'm not denying your experience, but joint pain and low libido can be just as much an androgen problem as an estrogen problem. Best thing in this situation is to do actual blood tests and stop guessing.

That being said I'd go for DHEA rather than boron. I don't really trust boron overall.

Anything that inhibits PDE3 could upregulate aromatase. Horny goat weed is a PDE3 inhibitor. Horny goat weed to increase estrogen in low estrogen males

That is an excellent point.
I only have a bloods from last october and my E2 was 15. So I will drop all the sups and wait a month or so and then I will do a new blood test. Im just interested in the boron supplement so I will maybe try that.

Boron is essential mineral that has huge benefits to hormones, bones, joints, brain, immunity. DHEA is a supplemental hormone that can easily aromatize. I would much rather suggest boron than dhea. Boron does not increase estrogen unless there is a deficiency of estrogen. Boron modulates hormones in healthy way

You need to take excessive amounts of boron that are hard to provide with food alone (unless you eat lots of specific fruit) for it to elicit any effect on hormones. The effect boron has on hormones seems very strange as well. Sometimes it's shown as pro-androgenic, sometimes it's shown as pro-estrogenic and sometimes both, depending on how long you have taken it for - it's a complete wildcard in my opinion. Boron is also often recommended as a way to lower SHBG (or at least prevent SHBG from binding to various hormones, by displacement), but if you go look on various forums most people will tell you that it's bunk. It's a joke. I have seen so many before and afters with no difference whatsoever. The „take boron to lower SHBG" is one of the most prevailing bro-science tier advices that still get a pass. Boron doesn't have much research behind it and the quality of research when it comes to male hormones varies between piss poor and solid. DHEA is much more studied and the research is of higher quality. And yes DHEA can go towards E1 especially, that's the point though. Obviously it's highly individual and a case by case thing, I'm just personally not a fan of taking high doses of this mineral. The fact that people taking high doses (9mg, 12mg, 15mg etc.) also have to introduce cycling to their routine is another thing.

The point is, hormones can only go so far, without essential nutrients. You could slam masteron or testosterone all day long, it wouldnt do ***t if you are deficient in magnesium, sodium or B12 or calories.

ALWAYS cover basics first. Vitamins, minerals, protein, fat, carbs, you know, dietary stuff. Only then play with hormones, if needed. Boron should have more studies done, but from the data we have, and plenty of anecdotes on people with disease or just wanting to raise libido, boron is clearly a winner substance. Some people were in pain all day before solving their arthritis with boron. I know DHEA can be beneficial, but you simply cannot cure fungal infection or arthritis. This shouldnt even be a matter of discussion. Basics first. Oh and you can get 10-50mg boron from diet or water, if the soil has boron. So that is just bad argument

Just a little update. I must say that the boron definitely helped me. I took 12 mg a day and I already noticed an increase in libido, my back acne cleared up and my energy levels are much higher.
