I think some of the benefits of gelatin are attainable after little amounts. Because of the the bacteria feed and general digestion, I always divide gelatin into small amounts throughout the day. Each dose is at most 10g of protein (hydrolyzed form), daily dose about 20-40g.

I think hydrolyzed gelatin (collagen) is already "digested"or broken down ,thats why the name "hydrolyzed" unlike regular gelatin and that should be absorbed in the gut before it reaches the bacteria.

Did anybody had problems with hydrolyzed version also?
