I don't want to disarm you, but I tend to agree that it's probably not your heart. Being in your early 20s it's exceedingly rare to have a heart condition unless you were born with it.

Nevertheless, I think it's highly irresponsible on your doctor's behalf if they just said "nah it's not your heart" without at least running some rudimentary tests like a EKG. They can't f**king know that unless they actually did the tests and ruled it out.

Also spontaneous angina pains due to certain deficiencies isn't exactly the same as "heart disease" in the clogged artery sense of the definition. Acute angina pains from deficiencies (like magnesium) can easily be corrected. Also you tend to lose magnesium easily when you're hypothyroid, some food for thought.

They are actually super inconsistent and it is often changing. Sometimes it hurts when exhaling and sometimes with inhaling. It is on both sides and all over, but not at the same time. Have not noticed anything different with eating or lying down, but can sometimes feel more after bending over although not always. Most of the time it has not caused much problems except when lifting weights but ocasionally I they are more painful for some time and then it subsides. Its not like I am always feeling pain and, but it has lasted for so long and I really want answers. I have read that anxiety and mental ailments can cause chest pain and I do have mild to moderate anxiety, but I am not sure if it is strong enough to cause chest pain.
Theres something called 'slipping rib syndrome' which you may wish to look up. Just a thought. You know your exact symptoms. I do not. It might indeed be worth a visit to the doc or a physio. If it is muscular related as Ecstatichamster suggested a bit of trigger point release, massage or spinal/ joint manipulation may help incredibly quickly.

Do you have anxiety? Anxiety can cause recurrent pains all over the body which feel like they are serious.

I had chest pains from oral vitamin D supplementation, which magnesium helped, but I switched to topical since then.

Sometimes these pains are caused by triggerpoints. Triggerpoints could even cause heart arrhythmia. You could visit triggerpoints.net and you could see the triggerpoints and you can massage them and often times get immediate relief.
Yikes I really hope its not heart arrythmia, will check the site out!

I wonder if magnesium oil rubbed on your chest could help? I would definitely buy a good quality magnesium glycinate supplement as well just in case. That really helped my chest tightness. Are your waking temps ok?
I have some magnoil as well some might have to give that a shot, tried topical Vitamin E as well but not really sure if it was working or not.

maybe its the pineapple? I do not trust exogenous Enzymes which cut endogenous tissues? Maybe change it with another agreeable Fruit?
I have tried on and of with pineapple and I cant say I have noticed much difference. I feel fine eating several a day as long as they are very ripe and tasty

because if it was your heart you’d be dead by now. You most likely have yeast overgrowth or acid reflux.
Thanks, I have considered acid reflux since it seems so common and I often find my teeth sensitive and in not optimal state, but I rarely get any regurgitation.

Oof, I really hope so. He did the very basics test such as listening and testing blood pressure etc and it was normal. I did an EKG in october 2018, but I did not excersise during the test and it only lasted for some seconds I think. But yeah, my diet is pretty good and I easily get 10-15 servings of fruit and vegetables as well so I think he took that in consideration as well. Also my chest pain does not occur when I get my pulse up so I can go on walks and stuff and train other stuff such as legs with no issues.

I have not been diagnosed with any disorder, but I have told my doctor before that I am hypochondric and I have tried to getting some help with it besides the medical system. I tried hypnosis for example. I am pretty sure I have anxiety, but not sure if it is that strong in that it can cause chest pain. I think I used to be even more anxious before with no such symptoms.

Hypochondria is a form of anxiety, so yeah you have an anxiety disorder. I have had chest pains from anxiety in the past however at my worst mental health state I didnt have the pains, it is strange how it works.

The medical system just teaches "coping" mechanisms or gives you pills. "Coping" I have never agreed with and I believe subconsciously trains you to accept you will always have anxiety that you are capable of "coping" with. You shouldnt admit to yourself you are happy to have anxiety, that shouldnt be the goal.

Things that helped with my anxiety were exercise, sunlight, gluten free, saturated fat, having fun, getting a fulfilling hobby, socialising, not having a stressful job, lowering masturbation, egg yolks.

Some harder to achieve than others.

Thanks, I am already doing all of them except getting a fulfilling hobby and I just quit my job a couple of days ago. Hope for better times, but I still consider myself as a very happy person even with anxiety. At least I try to. Did you have it confirmed that your chest pains were indeed from anxiety?

I had two ecgs done, multiple trips to the doctor and blood tests with nothing found. Since my anxiety has improved they are gone. I had enough testing done to essentially rule out everything but anxiety. I did also have acid reflux problems at the time, which can also be aggravated by anxiety.

Glad you are feeling better! How long did you have the chest pains?

Can't remember exactly, it was a few years ago, but at least about 8 months on and off. I'd make sure you get something like an ecg though to rule out anything serious.

I think it's acid reflux as well. I have similar pains, which occur randomly, and If I hadn't done more research, I would have never thought it was acid reflux.

Is your spine okay? Could be a pinched nerve/herniated disc. I used to have chest pains from playing baseball 6 times a week. The rotation in the spine damaged a disc and that led to short but intense pain in the chest during certain movements.

Could also be Roemheld-syndrome.
Basically so much gas that your intestines push against your heart.

Thanks, but what makes you suspect acid reflux?
