hi, I've recently wrote a post about chest pain I've had on and off for a couple of years.
drs have done x ray, echo, bloods and found no signs of heart disease, attack or stroke.
my concern is the last few days its been pretty constant, and ive been going to the toilet 5 times a day but with very little stool and a lot of slimey mucus.
I took aspirin on two days for the first time in months due to the chest pain, 450mg on night and 175mg the next day.
im unsure if the excess mucus would be from aspirin on those two days or if the excess mucus has nothing to do with aspirin and is solely related to this current chest pain in some way?
any knowledge on it being aspirin or it being related to the chest pains is appreciated.

Not inconceivable that aspirin could cause gut related issues. It effects prostaglandins which play a role as signaling molecules among other things in the gut. Mileage may vary among people we're all different. It slows my bowel function.
