TLDR: It's quite ridiculous that they throw this ingredient into testosterone boosters. It's supposedly used to lower estrogen by inhibiting aromatase and promoting estrogen detox. But that's very unlikely to happen. Plus, DIM might have additional side effects such as being an androgen antagonist.
