I'm looking to create a 1mg dht per drop solution. I'm thinking of mixing 500mg of dht with 95% alcohol and vitamin e. I was wondering how much alcohol and vitamin e I would need to create 1mg per drop? I know 1ml is usually 20drops but I am not sure how to factor in the volume of the powder. Hope someone can help.. johnwester130 has had good success dissolving 1 gram of steroid powder with 25ml of Vitamin e and 5ml of alcohol so you can assume a 15ml of solution is is enough to dissolve 500mg.

But the only way to know if you are actually getting 1mg of DHT per drop is to find out how many drops are in your bottle by counting first (using water) or using a precision weighing scale (and weighing one drop and taking that as a percent of the total weight) as the size of drops can vary depending on the bottle type. So if you are using a 30ml bottle (25ml of vitamin e and 5ml of alcohol) and determine there are 750 drops in the bottle, then you would want to dissolve 750mg of DHT. But if you realize there are only 500 drops then you would want to dissolve 500mg of DHT and so on.

I ran into this issue a few days ago and this was my understanding on how to fix it.

So you will almost have the same number of total drops, 450 drops (a drop is a volume unit) but instead of having each drop weighing 25mg, the modified drop will have an extra weight of (total mass of DHEA/450 drops).So your calculation of 2812.5/450 = 6.25mg of DHEA per drop seems correct I think.

But generally speaking,
if the bottle is 1000 drops,
adding on 1 gram of powder, it becomes approximately 900mcg - 1.1mg per drop.

"it dissolves easily in vitamin-e. Measure ingredients by weight. eg; 50 mg of test base with 950mg of vitamin-e will be a 5% mixture, 100mg of test with 900mg of vitamin-e will be a 10% mixture, etc. If you put it in a dropper bottle, and measure the weight of a drop you can then firgure out how much test is in that drop; A 30 mg drop of a 10% mixture will contain 3mg of test. "

If dissolved in oil, it reduces to 900 drops.

Healthnatura listed 30ml of progesterone in alcohol as 1400 drops, at 1mg per drop.
This drops to 900 drops if dissolved in oil.

Why not just copy the formulas by Biomatrix and Healthnatura?

All their 30ml bottles gives approximately 900-1400 drops.
So 1 gram of powder will always give approximately 700mcg-1mg per drop.

You suggest counting drops/dropper (1 ml) then multiply it by the the chosen quantity of solvent?

Fill the bottle you are going to use with dmso and start emptying it drop by drop while counting them. Lets say you count that bottle gives 600 drops of dmso so then you have to dissolve 600 mg of given powder in order to have 1mg per drop.

I can’t remember who done the maths, but someone on the forum counted the exact amount of drops in a typical small/medium sized Idealabs bottle (the Pansterone/Stressnon/Progestene size) up to the start of the neck of the bottle (just as it begins to curve). It was really helpful and would save an hour of messing around, but I can’t remember for the life of me who it was, or what the number amounted to. Would be great if someone could chime in.
