So you think it hits anagen as well?
We agree that the thyroid causes shedding- but I thought there was something to the die now (don’t grow) and fall out ~90 days later.
Confused as how with chemo poisoning it takes ~10 days to loose anagen (and telogen) hairs.

I don't really understand the hair growth cycle. Sounds like every 90 days all your hair would fall out.
I definitely shed faster than 90 days if I raise my estrogen or go off my thyroid meds and that's hairline recession and thinning on the sides.
I think your body sends the hair to catagen.
And anagen wise people see results from minoxidil in weeks or 2 months from what I've heard.

Selenium is usually taken with iodine and vitamin C.
Shifting thyroid levels will cause hair shed, which selenium acts on.
