ejaculations always have a lot of effects over about a week. Sometimes less so, in the summer, or more so, in the winter...depends on overall stress levels.

They cause me to look favorably at other women and to feel weirdly horny, and to not feel as much in my penis, and not enjoy sex as much.

You have to be alert to these feelings but once you are, they are strikingly obvious.
hey ecstatic,

I think you have mentioned this before but I don't remember where. You use the "karezza" method for having sex with your partner, right ? Does that imply no ejaculation right ?

I have tried no ejaculation with a partner and it's not bad...except you don't have an orgasm (she does). It's kind of boring. How do you manage that ?

What I noticed when no ejaculation is that I felt much more attracted to her, like "monogamous" feeling or "romantic" feeling, difficult to explain. This could last a few days until ejaculation. Then that feeling banished temporarly.

Can you relate to that ?

it's not boring. Of course at first it may be boring. But after awhile, the body and brain become exquisitely sensitive to this and it is 100 times better and I'm not exaggerating. I'm in this for pleasure and connection and it is so much better, that I live on a different planet than I used to. Sex is so amazing now, and I am only sorry I didn't get this years ago.

What you describe is exactly right. You develop very strong attraction for your partner. She seems amazing compared to before. And you feel really good about EVERYTHING in life.

It takes some time but once you get into this after a few months, it is a different world. Things keep getting better for 6 months, then even better for a year, and it just doesn't seem to stop getting even better.

Ejaculation kind of kills it all. Also, even edging and getting really close to the edge too much can have that effect somewhat.

It is NEVER boring. Ha! It is the most exciting best thing in the world EVER EVER EVER and nothing holds a candle to it.

Wow! Sounds amazing. Thanks a lot. So a couple of questions though :
- How often do you ejaculate then?
- Don't you feel headaches or a "hot head" or "blue balls" if you get aroused, have sex, and then don't ejaculate? For instance now if I masturbate and don't ejaculate (i think it's called edging?) I get a headache.

I ejaculate more than I would like. Maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks.

You learn to relax your PC muscle and then you don't tense up, so you don't get blue balls. At first, cold water helps, but it's really a matter of learning to relax the PC muscle.

One thing that happened to me is that after having that kind of sex... I wanted sex all the time (only with my partner, the monogamous feeling I said) and it was a bit uncomfortable because the sensation was that I had to finish it with ejaculation. I guess you rewire as you get more practice. Can you relate to that? Thanks!! :):

I usually notice PC contracts several times without me intentionally doing it, like a reflex movement. I have the theory that it does so to keep blood in the penis, but if you say that you can relax those muscles and still keep your erection, then that's not the reason. Why do you think it tense up?

I think some people actually preserve the energy by orgasming without loss of semen, sending that energy back to the CNS. I don't know how true this is, just saying what's out there.
It's true.

No, it is not true. There is no "energy" to be released back, unless you are speaking purely metaphorically. It's Asian mythological nonsense.
Once you orgasm a set of chemical changes occur, so whether you release your sperm does not really matter as you will still experience fatigue and all the other side-effects.
In fact, just touching your penis and watching porn without ejaculation can cause mild side-effects in regards to these same chemical changes.

What IS true is that "edging" for long enough prior to ejaculation can lead to entirely different effects compared to masturbating and releasing immediately.
Edging enhances orgasm and produces some pleasant effects (still a bunch of negative ones though).

isn't it also stressful abstaining from sex or having sex avoiding orgasm or ejaculation?

There's no "energy". All right, whatever man. Have you ever heard of kundalini awakening, for instance?

Lmfao you people with your effeminate "religious" fashion statements. Today you call yourself a Newage Taoist Spiritualist and tomorrow you preach about the goodness of Shri'a Law. We all know you don't actually believe in any of it, it's a statement of fashion brought about by emotional instability and it changes as quickly as your clothes. Don't be offended by it, it's the truth and you know it ;)

relaxing the PC muscle is much better. In general, sex is much better the more you relax. We just don't ever find that out because we don't try it.

I'm always surprised by the hostility this subject creates in some people. I don't really understand it.

Sex this way is way better. If it wasn't I wouldn't do it. It only has to do with pleasure, connection, feelings, for me, and the payoff is so vast that there is nothing that holds a candle to it.

It's not stressful at all. I have a lot of sex, much more than ever before because it's not "come and done" and it's so much better for my wife as well. Ordinary sex serves nature's ends to fertilize a woman, but it doesn't make us happy like this does.

I agree, I've noticed this too.

edging is a particularly harmful form of masturbation. Watching porn without masturbation can be harmful too.

There are not a lot of studies comparing partner sex to masturbation sex. Most studies around sex that use human males or females use masturbation assuming the effects are the same as with intercourse, which they are clearly not.
