Penicillin VK vs Penicillin G?

Does anyone know if Penicillin G would be okay to take for gut issues compared to VK? I’ve done some research and saw that VK would be better absorbed but I’m not sure of any other differences.

Here it says Penicillin - Wikipedia, that Penicillin G is used in injectable form.
I'm not sure how much will make it to the gut if you eat it.
