Does anyone know what the fat content of a serving of plain coffee beans is?
Given the fact that coffee can only be grown in tropical environments, it would make intuitive sense that most of the fats are saturated.
I have done a bit of preliminary research and have found some odd information. Specifically, when you look up "coffee bean nutrition content" on google you are shown a Nutrition Facts chart that states that a single 40g serving of beans contains 12g of fats; 6g saturated, 0g MUFA, 0g PUFA. (Chart is included below...)
Any idea how to account for the other 6g of fat?
Has anyone found any information that is not incomplete?
