I see that Ray recommends about 60 g of protein for older folks, like me.
I see that he also recommends about 20 g of gelatin.
So, does he mean 40 g of complete protein (like beef) + 20 g of gelatin (incomplete protein)?
or
Does he mean 60 g of complete protein + 20 g of gelatin?

I'm pretty sure that Peat considered gelatin a complete protein for adults. It's missing tryptophan which is needed by growing people but not for grown adults. From my reading of Peat's articles, I've come away with the understanding that getting your protein from dairy, gelatin, and eggs is preferable to getting it from muscle meat. He advised trying to avoid muscle meats for several reasons; it's high phosphate, it's high tryptophan, it suppresses thyroid. He just wasn't a fan of it.

go here: bioenergetic search ; search for "muscle meat" also search for "gelatin"
