The only cyproheptadine preparate (syrup) being sold in my country contains parabens in it. How dangerous would be taking it chronically?

I would never consume parabens unless I have to like if I needed some kind of lifesaving treatment. No orally ingested substance should ever contain parabens.

There is only two brand for cypro in the whole country. I have no other choice.
Also, cypro is the only thing that helps me with bowel jerks. I cannot stop using it.

You said really big things. What would you do in my situation? What would happen if I chronically take parabens orally?

Can the cypro go through the mail in your country? I haven't studied parabens a lot but what is out there is warning about it's use in skincare products so orally is probably worse.

No, it's completely forbidden to individuals to input a medical or supplement from abroad.

I guess so. But I wonder what others say about oral usage. Maybe paraben is less bioactive when taken orally?
