I'm up to 4mg cyproheptadine and taking it to resensitize and upregulate serotonin receptors.

I believe that they were desensitized after taking amitriptyline which caused emotional numbness and DP/DR among other things.

The link between cyproheptadine and Cushing's is interesting because I developed some Cushing's symptoms after taking amitriptyline like unnatural striae.

Can someone explain how it's linked because I don't want to make this worse?
5ht2c?

The only thing to give a window of relief from everything was coming off amitriptyline after being on it for quite a long time. I believe it could have temporarily upregulated or sensitized serotonin receptors and unfortunately it didn't last.

My appetite increased a lot even after being off amitriptyline and was never like that before.

If someone could help solve this puzzle I'd be so grateful because I'm unable to function.

Also have aspergers so probably high serotonin
