I'd not trust it I think. How did they desinfect and clean it? No doubt, if not cleaned on beforehand, it has residual proteins left in there and maybe growth of certain bacteria. Both are a possible source for allergic response.
Making it yourself is quite easy and gives you certainty about the process.

Perhaps ask the manufacturer. It is probably the remaining of bakers and I personally would not trust that.

What about desinfecting it with Aspirin, before taking it?

Yes I make it myself. Next time you eat eggs keep the shells, wash them with tap water and air dry them onto some towel. If you have quite some of them, you put them in a large pan with boiling water for 5 minutes. The protein residues will float but you'll drain those off. Put all the wett shells in an old pan and heat it till all moist is vaporized. After they are dry, but not burned, you can easily grind them to dust.

I tried making my own, and never managed to get it to a consistency I could swallow. So I buy oystershell powder from purebulk. I can't guarantee its purity - probably not as good as homemade eggshell powder. But cheap and easy to get down.

Well , my point is it's too much work for me to make it myself...

I cannot imagine the process would not be clean, the product is organic, certified and from Germany..
Wich has high quality standards.. Even though it's pets food...

Well i'm gonna take the risk, i do not see the difference with the powder on the Toxinless website

http://www.farmersorganicfoods.com/organic.html the stuff that is never in stock....

Thanks for your help...

1 heaped teaspoon with water or just food no problemo. :)

Probably my grinder is not very good. I didn't manage to get it that fine.
I have no trouble getting the fine powder I buy down with water.
