Hello,
I've been considering the consumption of Organic Eggshells, grounded into powder as to fortify my diet with Calcium.
I have some questions -
1) what form of Calcium is in eggshells though?
As I've read studies about different bioavailability, based on the form of calcium delivered in to the body. For example calcium carbonate , the rock/mineral form, that's cheapest and in most supplements, is considered poor bioavailability and more prone to calcify the arteries.
2) In terms of preparation and consumption - how should it be prepared and best ways to consume?
3) If you have your personal experience with consuming Eggshell powder as your main / supplementary source of calcium , please feel free to share any comments & tips on how to make, use it and consume it better.
Thank you.
