Well i reconize most with wat ilovethesea has to say...

I'm pretty much eating the way Danny Roddy puts it in the PeatWisperer...

My milk is expensive (grass fed, yersey cow milk organic) 2 euro a liter
OJ is freshly squeezed from organic shop 3 euro's a ltr (wich is slightly costlier than squeezing myself from organic organges)

A can of oysters cost 3 euro's
200 grams organic fresh cottage cheese 2 euro's
200 grams of lamb 6 euro's (grass fed)
150 grams of shrimp 5 euro's
1 kg of grass fed oxtail 10 euro's
200 grams of canned crab 3 euro's
200 grams of organic mozzarella cheese 3 euro's
200 grams of good quality organic fresh dutch or french cheeses 5 euro's

For exemple in the morning i have 3 eggs, 250ml, milk coffee and OJ.

Lunch the same with the oysters

Dinner cheese with fruit and ice cream

For me i guess it works out around 20 euro's a day times 30 = 600 euro's
and i did not mention all the desired "peat"supps....

To be honest, I keep it as low maintenance as is possible. I only eat shellfish once a week or less, don't spend money on liquid calories (except skim milk for coffee), and try to find replacements from the pantry instead of buying things. This fits the lifestyle I'm trying to live of contentment, like Paul said in 1 Timothy. And I've still noticed benefits from the Peat lifestyle.

(update) I mean the biggest take-away is 1. don't eat pufa, and if you do make it from a natural source like egg or occasional peanuts. and 2. stop fearing carbohydrates yins guys!

Have you got a self-stocking pantry? Where can I get one of those?

i didn't mean to make light of amyone's struggle. Honestly for me this lifestyle is pretty cheap and common sense-y but I know other people supplement or have their own needs.
If I figure out how to make the pantry self-stock I will definitely post a thread to show everyone how!!
