Hello,

My old diet :

Porridge with seeds, nuts , banana, honey, cinnamon etc. (with coconot oil)

Fruits

Lots of water and green tea

Organic sourdough spelt bread

With allot of Mayo, avocado, smoked chicken, BLT , tomato, nut/seed spreads, salmon, olive oil veggies.

Meats, fish , rice, potatoes, lots of glutenfree grains like millet etc etc. (baked in coconutoil and butter)

So pretty Carby, PUFA rich no Dairy..

Since i started Peating :

3 eggs in the morning, OJ, Coffee with milk n gelatine, sugar coconut oil.

fruits

3 piece of organic mozzarella cheese, OJ, Coffee with milk n gelatine, sugar coconut oil

Oxtail broth

Baked potatoes in ghee/butter with lambracks.... OJ

Before each meal i also take a small teaspoon of medicated ghee (clarified butter with turmeric for digestion and an old habit from my ayurvedic times)

I drink Grass fed full fat milk from jersey cows, simply because the milk is much healthier than skimm milk.

My question is if i'm getting too much fat in my diet because i thought that a good amount of fat in diet wil help you to burn fat!

Since i started Peating i have noticed more fat on my waistline i have gained 5kg on Peating....

On the starchy PUFA diet i was 70kg perfect body (though slight hypothyroid)
No i'm getting a bit of fat on my tummy...

What am i doing wrong?

I wanna run back to my PUFA and starch diet...

Is it simply too much fat in my diet i mean yes lot's of coconutoil but this suppose to increase metabolism right? and according to allot of things i read also the Sat. fats from meat and butter...
There is even a guy on the internet who eats like 60 to 80 % fats and he is ripped..

Please some advice on fat intake in the Peat diet and why i'm gaining...

Cheerio

Your old diet was not that unhealthy. Lots of nutrition there.
You can use cronometer.com to figure out the nutrients break down
in old and new diets. Gelatin, coconut oil and sugars are almost devoid
of vitamins and minerals. Coconut oil gives extra boost only when there is
enough PUFA in blood to lower metabolism.
