Do you also tolerate lactose in milk ?
I never developed lactose tolerance on RP diet .
And I can not eat beans without consequences unless I cook the hell out of them and drain water several times.
Those oligosaccharides in beans ("prebiotics") are pretty similar to those in milk (Galacto-oligosaccharides) .
It is the same as Ray Peat's famous spoon of milk a day , will help to overcome lactose intolerance. On karen Hurd protocol it is recommended to start with a bean , slowly increasing amount .
I don't like dosing foods all the time, planning how many beans should I eat this time. And it doesn't work for everyone.
I'm good with oats and rice though
Brown rice will help a bit with fibre.
No I never had any digestive problems with milk, of any kind. Drank 2 litres of the best local raw milk for a year. Nevertheless during this time my health deteriorated, skin worsening, back and hip pain worsening, gained body fat, fatigue, hopeless feeling, not feeling up to doing hard tasks and so procrastinating etc.
