Apparently pregnenolone, but it is going to depend on what your body wants to do with it. 10mg preg in the morning and rather instantly I did not need my 90mg of Naturethroid. The preg is much cheaper and I don't have to go through the medical cartel to get it.

I've heard hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein can have thyroid benefits

Sucrose, glucose, fructose and lactose

I feel this is a foundation of Peat’s work

Maybe this is good

it's essential probably, but not good enough.

I wonder if one cant correct malfunctioning metabolism with thyroid hormones, whether youth hormones preg/prog/DHEA Peat talk about so much would promote thyroid tissue function/recovery over time.

Food: macro and micro nutrients are a powerful healers. Foundational.
This is why Peat answers complex medical complaints with “have you tried the carrot salad” or “how much salt are you getting daily”.
And in turn why the ‘food’ of PUFA is considered so damaging.

Yes, progesterone, sunlight and caffeine et al are thyroid surrogates.

If someone is complaining of a malfunctioning metabolism- as you said- food, diet, macros etc all need to be looked at first.
