    How much is overdoing it? Any rough idea in terms of wattage/distance/duration as a rough ballpark idea of what people have found is too much? (Granted, everyone is going to be slightly different but interested to find out the rough average of people here).

    I bought the red light from Life Giving store. I make like a covers fort in bed and shine it in there - itt's warm and relaxing. You have to not fall asleep and burn your mattress tho.

    I don't plan to use the light in bed, but on table next to desk where my computer sits.

    If I feel a little cold in bed, I keep a heating pad close by. Use it for 20 min or so in our winter months...
