Fears About Taking New HepC Drug - Epclusa

Hi Peaty's, I have had HepC for 40 years. I'm not very scarred in the liver and mostly have fatigue from it. It does affect my health, though. My gastro said I would qualify for the new Epclusa treatment - 1 pill a day for 12 weeks and the pills are coming tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with DAA HepC treatments and/or advice? Part of me is hesitant because I have pretty severe anemia and the treatment can cause anemia. I'm afraid I won't be able to get out of bed! But, I am also getting an upper and lower endoscopy next week which may show why I am so anemic. So I am going to wait until then before starting the treatment. Basically, I'm just really scared to take such a strong medicine, but would like to not have HepC anymore as well. Thanks for any input.

One of my fears stems from a recent release from the FDA about patients getting re-infected with HepB and several people died from that.

Guess I'm just going to have to create a positive outlook and jump off the cliff.
