One thing I didn’t get about Ray Peat is he came off as very estrogenic, socially awkward, low dopamine in all his interviews/lectures. Which I find weird as his following his principles and diet should promote an opposite effect to that.

I know he had surgeries and radiation on his mouth and I know he was also old, but I don’t think those things are 100% to blame for the reason why he acted like that.

I think he's just subconsciously copying his "mannerisms", and those kind of things can come and go pretty quickly I've noticed in both myself and others.

yea even his voice sounded like Peat intermittently
I think it's probably him watching/talking so much with Peat that he picked it up

Pretty common with high intelligence to be socially awkward though and isnt dopamine pretty well tied in with social standing? which although given peats popularity he was unbelievably humble. But yeah diet can only change so much, psychological imprinting plays too big a role in this i believe.

I saw some guy on twitter claiming he started transmorphing into Haidut after taking Idealabs products, pretty funny post.

What are your thoughts on this? The stuttering is very consistent throughout the interview. I find it quite concerning.

If he is laughing less he probably just replaced one with the other.

I haven’t watched. Is this audio only? If visual, it’s easier to discern why any verbal nuances. Why are you concerned? I personally would almost find it endearing. I’ll watch first.

I found Ray the opposite. Socially gracious, A great listener. Compassionate. A renaissance man is quite androgenic.

Cope.
The level of rationalisation to excuse him, or Peat or Haidut when certain accusations are brought up, is ridiculous.

Well this is a typical reply a Ray Peat fan usually gives when anyone critiques how Ray acted in person. I was never saying he wasn’t a nice person to speak to.

He acted very estrogenic, had estrogenic mannerisms and also sat cross legged the whole time. When I was higher estrogen and lower T, I would always sit crossed legged instinctively and had a timid demeanour. Now I never feel to sit crossed legged since my hormones are working better.

Ray was not socially awkward or estrogenic, he was genuine, warm and had a fun, elegant sense of humour and your scope of judgment is limited to probably the very small amount of interviews you've listened to and barring the in person life of someone who hated the digital culture. I think a better description of an estrogenic person would be someone who hurls their caustic, narrow thoughts from the safety of an anonymous forum

Yes, it’s because people with high intelligence have high glutamate levels and lower gaba. So that will make them more intelligent, but also more awkward and introverted socially. This is one of the common features of Aspergers/Autism - excitotoxicity (glutamate GABA imbalance)

When my dopamine synthesis is working properly I am very socially confident, charismatic it’s like socialising comes naturally. When it isn’t I am autistic and socially awkward. Taking BH4 with tyrosine in the past proved to me my dopamine synthesis wasn’t working normally.

Biased answer, he gives off a very socially anxious, estrogenic vibe with his mannerisms. Don’t mistake me for being a hater I respect the work he’s done and it’s been helpful for me, I’m just saying what I observe.

Never heard mention of BH4 before, do you find it has to be taken with tyrosine to get the dopamine boost? Ive tried tyrosine at times but never got much from it.
