Bit Sick, Diarrhea. How Should I Approach This?

The first day I had unbelievable aches and pains, I managed to get through that but approaching the third day, I still have diarrhea. Otherwise I feel somewhat normal. When my aches went, I assumed I was getting better so I had some rice and orange juice. Everything turned into diarrhea. My approach at first was just to eat juicy fruit to keep myself hydrated and supply me with some glycogen. I'm wondering whether I should start taking salt water?

Any recommendations?

Activated charcoal may help. Helps to remove toxins and tends to be a bit constipating.

According to the website of the Austrian Pharmacist's Association the recipe for the WHO oral rehydration solution is:
  • 1 liter water
  • 20 g glucose
  • 2,5 g sodium bicarbonate
  • 3,5 g sodium chloride (table salt)
  • 1,5 g potassium chloride

In case of emergency, if the above is not available they advise to mix:
  • 0,5 liter orange juice (for the potassium)
  • 0,5 liter mineral water (for the sodium bicarbonate)
  • 8 level teaspoons sugar (glucose + fructose)
  • 3/4 table salt (sodium chloride)
