I was hoping to start a hair growth discussion thread with anyone who has encountered sudden hair shed, hair thinning & hair receding. Either it being hormonal imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, genetics or stress

Has anyone recovered from a bad hair loss year & how did you recover?

Im wondering if anyone has any new lifestyle hacks/diet/supplement suggestions that have worked for them?

A few subjects I’ve read about below over the years & also other peoples experiences:

•Fixing nutrient deficiencies
•Thyroid
•Adrenal glandulars
•Dhea & Preg
•Derma rolling
•Hair serums
•Copper peptide
•Vitamin E before bed
•Niacin
•Iv Therapy
•Inversion therapy for blood flow to the scalp
•Cold Showers
•Scalp massages
•Not washing hair with shampoo
•Red light therapy
•High dose NAD IV therapy
•Duck/Chicken egg consumption daily
•More raw dairy or less dairy
•Low carb diets cause more hair loss?
•Does high sugar consumption lead to hair loss?
•Gut health
•Coffee consumption
•PRP with exomes scalp injections
•Malabsorption
•Sleep more
•High dose melatonin
•Iodine (2-3 GRAMS) (Lugols)

For me estrogen in a good balance is really beneficial. Too much and it sheds - too little and it thins out a lot. When I made my DHT levels go SKY HIGH I definitely had more excessive balding, but the hair that was still there seemed thicker and healthier. Kind of a weird dichotomy

Im surprised estrogen has such a strong roll in hair growth/loss. Is vitamin E good to take before bed?

Would like to hear more on this. I haven’t been successful with anything I can pin point. I’ve noticed under eating makes it way worse. And lack of protein and fat makes it thinner.

I forget who, but someone was talking about aspirin and baking soda mixed into a paste washes interspersed with days of egg white washes is great for hair. I’m going to give it a try. I’ll probably add rosemary oil as well.

It isn't mentioned on this list but MSM or NAC supplementation may also help. But it may be better to just supplement MSM which will then increase cysteine levels in the body and the sulfur can also be used for other important processes such as detoxification. Then theres also biotin which is not on this list.
