Two Thoughts About Coronavirus

1) we keep hearing about “healthy” people succumbing to the virus. But what is healthy anyway? These people who died - how was their thyroid function? Vitamin D levels? We don’t know. It’s presumptuous to describe them as healthy just because they don’t have any obvious underlying conditions, or Eve just because they’re under 50 or whatever. (Not to mention, we don’t know how they were treated in hospital).

2) I’m absolutely sickened by the enthusiasm with which the media reports new deaths, at least here in the UK. Such hypocrisy - on the one hand they produce reports about the importance of mental health, and on the other they positively relish the opportunity to tell us how many people have died. Disgusting. I’m done with it.

Yep, am done with the media coverage too. It's pathetic. Yesterday's headline was the last straw for me: "Breaking news: surge in death rate." The number jumped from 9 to 11.....

I haven't seen a single news story to showcase even a single supposed healthy person, never mind the test you are talking about. It's either "under 50, had pre-existing conditions," "a cancer survivor has died of corona virus," "five more died in a nursing home," or "a grandmother, 93, has died." It's just a line they throw out, never even backed it up with a single case.

Hearing about people who are supposed great health because they workout a lot and run everyday is just perpetuating the myth that people who appear healthy b/c of "optics" means they must be thriving on the inside which makes this whole "virus" unnecessarily scary for the average person who doesn't know better.

My grandma is 95 and in a long term care home. She's like a cockroach so we're not too worried. There are people 20 years younger than her in there and on oxygen therapy all day to stay alive. I'm more worried about them since they're compromised and more likely to get some unnecessary "treatments" that will further their demise.

My mom is 95 in an ALF. She has dementia. But other than that, doing well. She's warm to touch and on no medications. Loves eating ice cream and playing spelling bee. She fully knows that being challenged to spell difficult words is a good exercise. "Cockroach." LOL Yeah, I guess mine's a cockroach too.

The main thing that changes is I can't get her weekly snacks and potions (i.e- progest-e, T3, gelatin snacks, etc.)

My grandma radiates love to others and really enjoys life. She never feels bad for herself and really believes "it's in god's hands" which in of itself is her knowing that she's part of something bigger.

She's the most "infectious" person there, but it's love that she spreads the most :)

Oh that's lovely.
Unfortunately, my siblings threw away all the potions for Mom. Progestene, T3, MB, ritasnserin all went into the garbage.
So Mom is not her bubbly loving self. She's aggressive and viscious.
The angelic team who run the ALF let it roll off their backs. She sleeps most the day but wakes up calling "Ice Cream!" until they come in with ice cream. After her first bite, she demands, "Spelling Bee!" She spells the difficult words they rattle off to her and she falls back asleep. Rinse. Repeat.
But I did get to witness what Ritanserin did for her. It was a freaky transformation before my eyes. So, serotonin is highly involved.
Progestene calmed her down and she wanted to engage with us.
But it's a battle with my family members that I can not win.
Any talk of my "alternative garbage" infuriates my family.

A great testament for anyone here to see how powerful Peat's suggestions really are. I haven't tried cypro yet, so maybe when all this settles we'll give it a shot. She doesn't sleep for long bouts so maybe this might be the key.

Good luck with the family. If it gets bad for them down the road, maybe they'll turn to you.

There's a truth embargo on life saving treatments like hydroxyquinone and Vit C, in favor of the upcoming vaccine.

On 3 march, the Shanghai government officially endorsed Vit C by IV but not a peep in the medias ever since.

Even Ron Paul prefers to play the political game rather than telling the truth.
(Maybe that's what he's been up to all along)

The hydroxyquinone treatment has been known and published for the last 13 years, back in the days of the Swine flu epidemic, and the medias still attempt to marginalize it any way they can.

Not a word about how long it takes to become immune after being exposed to it.

Maximum mass hysteria is what they're after.

There is no evidence hydroxychloroquine-sulfate can prevent or cure coronavirus,
Hungarian Prime Minister said a Hungarian company starts producing 20 millions portions.
Export of this medicine is forbidden.

I'm posting here the entire article, since it's being blocked outside the US.

Hospitals Are Treating Coronavirus Patients With Large Doses of Vitamin C

Seriously ill coronavirus patients at New York area hospitals are being treated with massive doses of vitamin C.

Dr. Andrew Weber, a pulmonologist and critical-care specialist with Northwell Health, has been administering 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C to his COVID-19 patients in intensive care.

The patients are then given the dosage three or four more times throughout the day, Weber told the New York Post.

To put it into perspective, each dose is more than 16 times the daily recommended dietary allowance of vitamin C. According to the National Institutes of Health, adult men should receive 90 milligrams, while adult women are advised to get 75 milligrams.

Weber disclosed the regimen was enacted based on reports of promising results after the experimental treatments were used on coronavirus patients in Shanghai, China.

“The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C,” Weber said. “It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.”

Jason Molinet, a spokesman for Northwell Health, confirmed that vitamin C is being “widely used” as a coronavirus treatment, but said the exact dosage varied from patient to patient, reported the outlet.

With 23 hospitals, Northwell Health is New York State's largest healthcare provider.
Northwell has approximately 700 coronavirus patients across their system, but it’s unclear exactly how many are currently receiving the vitamin C regimen.

While there are no FDA-approved drugs to treat COVID-19, the federal government is now allowing New York State to experiment with the malaria and lupus drug hydroxychloroquine and the antibiotic Zithromax, according to NBC News.

The implementation of the experimental drugs comes as New York has quickly tranformed into an epicenter for the virus in the United States, with over 25,000 positive cases across the state.

80% of Russia’s Coronavirus Aid to Italy ‘Useless’ – La Stampa

Around 80% of the coronavirus supplies that Russia has sent to Italy are “useless,” the country’s La Stampa daily reported Wednesday, citing high-level political sources.
Russia sent 600 ventilators and 100 military virologists and epidemiologists to Italy following talks between President Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte last Saturday. Footage of Russian military trucks en route from Rome to the coronavirus epicenter of Bergamo circulated online this week.
“Eighty percent of Russian supplies are totally useless or of little use to Italy. In short, this is little more than a pretext,” an unnamed source told La Stampa.
The source said the Russian supplies consist of disinfection equipment, a field laboratory for sterilization and chemical prevention, and other similar tools.
La Stampa’s sources claimed that Putin is pursuing geopolitical and diplomatic opportunities with the aid package dubbed “From Russia With Love,” while Conte accepted the aid in order to secure a good personal relationship with Moscow.

It's pretty simple the solution for all these virus issues.

Because Virus do not have the capability to self proliferate, through several mechanisms they upregulate the proliferative/biosynthetic pathways of the human cell & then use the resultant metabolites for their own proliferative needs.

Virus upregulated pathways typically relate to glycolysis, glutamine consumption, nucleoide synthesis etc.

So a really simple start for a generic therapy for all virus would be.

1. Divert glycolysis output to oxidative TCA cycle (Thiamine would be a great start).
2. Block Glutamine consumption (Start with Cannabiol, which helps in 1 as well).

I'm in the process of forming a "non profit" startup to do just this if anyone is interested in hearing more ?.

Coronavirus victim, 21, 'had no health issues'
Here’s one. It’s made pretty big news in the UK

although I do also wonder if it’s possible she had a condition she didn’t know about

Thanks. That article itself is quite a stretch.

"A 21-year-old woman with no underlying conditions has died after contracting coronavirus, according to her family."

According to her family? Not doctors? Or a coroner? Did she take a test for COVID 19? Well, at least the BBC directly interviewed the family..... right?

"In a Facebook post, her aunt Emily Mistry said Ms Middleton "had passed away from Covid-19" and urged others to "do your bit" to stop the spread of the disease.
According to government figures, most patients who have died with coronavirus had pre-existing medical conditions.
There have been concerns that younger people were ignoring warnings over its spread, believing the contagion was only a danger to the elderly.
But in a series of Facebook posts, Ms Middleton's family urged the public to heed safety advice and take the virus "seriously".

Yikes. This story appears to be based entirely off of postings on Social Media.

While it absolutely is a sad story, it really shouldn't be appearing on a major news site like the BBC without more investigation.

Front page of daily news here is warning from doctors that young people especially are not taking social distancing seriously enough, and that “we see you walking in park together”. I couldn’t believe the tone of it. The city just shut down playgrounds.

yeah, we got alerts and severe shaming admonitions with "we see you walking in the park". Therefore, the punishments need to be more severe.
Next, it will be (for our own good, of course) to shut down the internet in an effort to keep false ideas from spreading.
