Early on in this event there were reports from Europe that most of the deaths were from the elderly and those with co-morbidities. I have not read much about this in the US population. The mainstream media seems to report on every incident of young people dying who were officially were labeled as having covid-19. Almost universally these reports did not mention co-morbidities.

The state of Massachusetts has the 4th highest number of deaths in the US. The state published a document in which they observed that:
  • 98.2% of the deaths are associated with underlying conditions. (see pie chart on page 13) That is not very scary if you are healthy and have no underlying conditions.
  • 82 years is the average age of death. Looking at the bar graph on page 11, it is not very scary if you are under 60. Especially if you are otherwise healthy.

Why aren't we hearing more information on the type of victims of this virus? New York City may be an exception, but I am not certain it is the rule. Does anyone have any specifics for other states?
