Using Sulfur Soap (10%) now for Tinea on my scalp. Just 2 days in use, itching is reduced and spots as well. Side effect is you smell like a rodden egg haha.
Any suggestion on how long one can use sulfur soap on skin? I am thinking about using daily for a week, then eod, then 2-3 times per week for the next 1-2 month, because infection keeps coming back after its gone, so i have to be consistent with treatment.
Had success with fungal soap (tea tree oil, and others), Ciclopirox-Olamin Shampoo (dont want to use that one consistent basis), and baking soda .. but every time fungus is coming back. So I have to find something I can use for longer time. Trying Sulfur Soap now.
Anyone had experience with Noble Formular (Zinc Phyritione)?
Also I thought about getting some oral terbinafine, but undecylenic acid (Thorne SF722) probably is a safer oral anti fungal?
