Progesterone decreases estrogen in tissues.
Does that mean that a certain dose of progesterone decreases prolactin [because of the release of estrogen in tissues - promoted by progesterone - and their further removal from the blood]?
What is the dose of progesterone to achieve this effect in an elderly person with hypothyroidism: I mean, should it be a small dose or a megadose? Is there a need for a megadose for that aim?
