How To Measure Extremities Temperature?

Ray Peat and I think Broda Barnes too mentioned extremities temperatures.
Adrenaline can compensate for low thyroid thus having normal core but low extremities temperatures.

How do you measure them?

Just grab a thermometer by its tip and close your hand so you got hands temp?
Place the thermometer tip between your feet fingers?

Now what temp ranges are normal for hands and feet?
Do you should compare extremities vs oral temperature readings?

“Basal” body temperature is influenced by many things besides thyroid.
The resting heart rate helps to interpret the temperature. In a cool
environment, the temperature of the extremities is sometimes a better
indicator than the oral or eardrum temperature.”

Just check if your hands and feet or the tip or your nose are cold, or if your hands are colder than the hands of other people. You don't need a thermometer and numbers to find out if your extremities are cold.
