How Many Carbs A Day?

I'm wondering, how many carbs do you guys eat in a day?

I was just doing this simple calculation, I eat around 100-150 gram of protein a day. I try to keep my fats very low, like 20-40 gram. So this is like 700 calories or something. Assuming I need around 2500-3000 calories, that would mean something like 5oo-600 gram of sugar? That seems unreal much to me. Anybody that does this kind of high sugar diet?

I'm now eating more around 2200 calories a day. Sometimes around 2500 if I eat more coconut oil. I drink 2 quarts of milk. And around 3 quarts of orange juice. But that is "only" 370 gram of carbs. I try to see how more calories affect me, but do people here real eat 500-600 grams of sugar?

I saw Ray Peat once recommend around 150-200 grams of sugar a day. Or is this an old recommendation?

150-200 grams of sugar and starch for the rest? Just 200gr of carbohydrates would imply a very poor BMR and metabolism.

I personally do fine with 400gr CH (200 starch - 200 fruit/honey)

Typically about 300 grams carbs, but that's a mix of starch and sugar. I dont know how much of just sugar bc I just put everything into cronometer. 500-600 grams of sugar sounds nauseating.

Ray has never recommended under 180 grams per day to my knowledge. He has said he he thinks 180 is the least someone should get, but 250 is preferable for how little someone should get. I personally eat between 350-800 grams per day, never getting less than 350grams.

What types of fruit and type of milk, and their volumes of each.

@Kasper I never said everyone should strive for 800grams, I was just saying what I eat.

I understand, I'm just curious, what do you eat to get 800 grams of carbs? It seems absurd to me to eat 5 quarts of milk and 5 quarts of OJ (or some other juice). But maybe someone can do well with it. I'm just curious

I only drink 4 quarts of milk, the rest is from oranges, grapes, cherries, orange juice, sometimes bluberries, and other fruits.

@Luna Daily I drink a gallon of 1% milk, spread out in 2-4 cups intervals. I drink 6-12 cups of orange juice, and depending on my current goals, will eat fresh fruit ( oranges, grapes, cherries etc ) Right now my calories are between 2600-2800, but on days I feel I need it I will eat a lot more fruit, sometimes up to 4500 calories, but I never really drink over a gallon of milk per day, I just eat more fruit. I eat about 1 tablespoon of hydrogenated coconut oil per day as well as about 1oz of liver. That's about it.

1 Oz of liver everyday.? Lamb or beef?
