Oh, Mg I discovered may be 10 or more years ago!
That's a miracle! W/ taurine even better. Migraines almost cured. Anxiety's gone.
W/ nonstop stress life there's no way without it. But probably damaged my heart too much w/ stress and PUFA.
Can I ask you why did you take high doses and did it help? Should I expect any side effect? Just really have enough stress. And ironically anxiety's back since "peating". And sleep problems also.
I loved it honestly. It warmed and relaxed me early on when I desperately need those effects. As my health improved I gradually reduced it. I know others have had different experiences so yours may not be the same as mine.

You're welcome. If you don't mind me asking what magnesium do you take?
Will try to remember. First it was Country life chelated, triple Mg complex from Swanson, then Natures way caps., Vitacost ultra, Carlson oxide,
couple last years I use Mega-Mag from "Trace Minerals Research" liquid, ionic w/trace minerals. It has 1100 mg chloride by 400 mg of Mg. I use it not religiously and don't even full dose, - when remember, when feel needs, after (or even before) stress. Start thinking maybe too much chloride, need to replace it. Also, very rarely Epsom salt in bath (never have a time), and Mg Chloride oil spray, mostly like an application (compress) on sore muscle, traumas, black n blues, myositis, back ache etc.

Thanks! I was just curious because magnesium is sometimes difficult to absorb. In case you're interested the best magnesium supplement I've used so far is Idealabs Magnoil. Second runner up was making my own magnesium bicarbonate water. Here's a recipe:
Magnesium Bicarbonate Water Recipe: Improve Your Mind, Improve Your Health
The typical pills and sprays were never as effective for me.

Thank you, magnesium bicarbonate water I always wanted, but almost all contraindications for me, yet.
