Wondering if anyone might know what mechanism birth control (specifically OrthoTricyclen Lo--a low estrogen pill) would work to help hair grow? Years ago when i was on Ortho there was a marked difference in my hair (this was before I had noticed real hairloss however in hindsight I realize it started earlier). My hair grew longer than it had in a while and generally felt healthier while on the pill. I am trying to figure out what specifically about that pill helped my hair so I can supplement RP style :/ Perhaps the progestin in it?
