Beta endorphin, depersonalization and how to decrease it?

There are suggestions that high levels of beta endorphin could contribute to depersonalization.

I took amitriptyline in the past which caused depersonalization and emotional numbness which just won't go and it increases beta endorphin in the brain. Therefore i'm wondering if it could be a factor and would like to lower it.

I know cyproheptadine lowers beta endorphin but the lowest dose really affects me and makes me feel too drowsy.

Does anyone know of another way to decrease beta endorphin, such as with a herb etc?
