I honestly feel like a genetic mistake. ******* finasteride man. im losing everythjng. im.like really at my last straw here. man I cant believe im here and saythjg this. this is so sad. man. God.

After reducing fiber to well under 5g/day, taking large amounts of calcium has been huge for me, 1500-2000mg/day. Calcium combines with bile and saturated fats in the intestine to create a soap that protects your intestine, makes things move smoothly, and makes it harder for bacteria to grow. It's one of the secrets to achieving the legendary ghost wipe all the time. The problem people run into taking a lot of calcium, though, is constipation. This happens because you don't get enough magnesium in proportion to calcium. I find that, at a minimum, I have to take at least 0.5g magnesium for every 1g calcium, but it's better if I get closer to a 1-to-1 ratio. If your bowels run too fast, then cut back the magnesium and/or don't take it on an empty stomach. Probably in the past, magnesium was more abundant in the soil, so more of it ended up in the foods we eat, so calcium-induced constipation wasn't as much of a problem, and not having invented toilet paper wasn't a problem because of plenty of calcium soap in the intestine if you consumed much calcium (probably also more abundant in the soil). So I supplement magnesium glycinate or citrate according to my calcium intake.

After peeing the bed last night and having multiple panic attacks today. .. I can tell you somehing nice happened. I decided to eat cottage cheese and orsge juice and to my surprise my hands became vry warm and my nipples shrunk in size. usually I love dairy... but I have had constipation in the past from it... I am praying... this is my lost problem... prayung dude so much. making promises to myself like ill be a billionaire id this works out or ill ask the girl I.work with out if it works.

I have been slaming calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium ge past 2 days. esoecially magnesium. ive just been having diahrea but I don't care. potasujm from coconut water. eggshell and milk and mabesum glyxinate for magnesium.

Ok here we go. thus it it. my whole life eight now in my hands. I will let you guys know.

HD: Ok, back to endotoxins, how are they harmful for our health?

RP: Uhm, it triggers all series of reactions and it seems to be physical-chemical process that stirs up a cell to recognize a threat and set off a chain of reactions, and it's the things that it sets in action that really causes the chronic cumulative degenerative damage. One of the first thing that it does on exciting a cell is to cause the cell to take up calcium and to activate the synthesis of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide and the cell excitation that goes with absorbing calcium trigger other reactions; small amount of endotoxin can stimulate the intestine to contract more, but if the cells are getting overloaded with it, that and other irritants can cause cells to produce so much nitric oxide that the nitric oxide becomes a major metabolic disruptor, and will cause the intestine to lose the ability to contract; it will poison the respiratory apparatus so the cells can't make energy to fight back, at that point with increased nitric oxide, reduced energy and taking up calcium, the cells also take up water.

HD: And then they become basically non-functioning to a degree.

RP: Uhm, yeah, they're under stress and if the body can deliver enough energy to them quickly, they can excrete the water and the calcium, turn of the nitric oxide and return to normal functioning; but when they swell up, another place that textbooks give a simplified mistaken idea of what is involved in bowel damage from endotoxin, they talk about the leakage between cells, as if the cells loose the glue that holds them in contact with each other, so holes upen up between cells; that does happen, but it isn't necessarily the worst way that endotoxin gets into the cells and passes through the cells. The whole structure of the cells, the cytoplasm, as it takes up water instead of being fat-like and tending to exclude wasser and prefering to absorb fats, the introduction of this sugar-connected to a fat acts like a soap and make the cells tending to admit not only more water but pretty much anything that is in its environment; so the whole substance of the cells becomes kind of spongy and leaky. When this starts affecting the whole organism, that kind of change occurs all through the body, once the stuff has passed through lining of the intestine, and crosses across capilaries, and gets into the bloodstream, then the endotoxin starts doing the same thing to any cell that comes to. So it will leak out of capilaries, no matter where it is in the bloodstream, if the liver hasn't filtered it. So, if it happens to reach the brain, it will cause the brain capilaries to leak whatever is in the bloodstream, so it can contribute to multiple sclerosis. Endotoxin leaking into the brain does the same thing, triggers the release of nitric oxide and a whole chain of chemical reactions that every organ has a particular way of responding to it. But the generality, no matter what the organ, there are basic defense reactions that will occur not only to endotoxin but to any radical threat to the survival of the cell, x and gamma-rays, will produce essentially the same kind of change in brain cells or bowel cells that endotoxin does. So, if you're overexposed to x-rays for example, you'll get constipated. In the same way, the overexposure to endotoxin will cause consipation.

I forgot to mention on that previous post that what was highlighted might explain why people that eat a generous amount of starch don't usually tolerate dairy well.

Thoughts on avoiding constipation? I have improved my health and digestion tremendously since adopting a pro Peat diet, but i am still susceptible to getting backed up somehow still. My guess is that it comes from having a pretty high liquid diet. I rarely ever drink water, unless you count in my coffee or cokes. My liquid per day usually consists of:
  • 1-2 cups of OJ in the morning
  • 2-3 Mexican Cokes per day
  • 2-3 coffees per day with milk
I usually salt foods generously and eat a moderate starch diet but not excessive. I also feel pretty good, so its far from a terrible state that i am in. Just miss my morning # 2 right now!

Foods with manganese cause a poop. Soaked almonds first thing for breakfast. then cacao, cacao is great for manganese. Black rice is another food that has manganese.

Thanks. Cacao is a great food. So is maple syrup. Recommending almonds might not be the best look. PUFA central.

No issue with almonds. Because the vitamin E helps mitigate pufa

Probably a good point relative to vitamin e. I definitely eat almond butter for a long time and was high functioning, but my only real biblical dietary restriction is low PUFA. I feel much better personally when i adhere to it.

I've been having to take cascara sagrada every second day to keep things moving easily. Im starting to think the goal is to not need any cascara sagrada.

I was recently in China for 6 weeks, eating local and catered food (at a yoga centre) and can guarantee all that oily chinese food kept my bowels squeaky...
1 mvt before coffee, 1 after coffee and another before class at 9am! Sometimes I get 4 mvts a day too. :-D
Too bad they stopped using tea seed oil for cooking
I would have preferred that to mass produced stuff in giant 4-litre plastic bottles...
almost used up a whole bottle of Tocovit smeared all over my arms after every meal...

Interesting. I have found eating more fat has kept my bowel movements the most regular they have been in years. Of course the fat I eat is saturated, so perhaps it is a feature of fat, not just PUFA oil like the Chinese food you ate.
