Agreed E-hamster, Ca (together with Vit D - in my case from a Sperti lamp since I can't tolerate oral D supps) is very important. It is hard to get the 2000 mg Ca recommended from dairy alone. A quart of milk and half a pound of cheddar would do it, but that's a lot more than most people ingest on a daily basis. I've been shifting from meat (phosphorus) as main course to using it as a flavoring agent and upping dairy in its place - cheesy thin crust pepperoni pizza for instance, rather than chicken or steak or burger for dinner. Yet, I still need to supplement with some Ca (eggshell) to get a sufficient amount daily.Most people don’t. This thread as I understand it is about average man diet.
