It’s sort of a herbal viagra. It contains L-arginine, tribulus, guarana, ginseng, Polygonum, epimedium, muira puamaz
That way you cant tell wich one is working and which is not. Also getting used to many herbs at once, this is why they are loosing effect over time.

You need to take 10-15 different herbs separately. One day take tribulus the next day take horny goat, the third whatever and so on. You take tribulus today and the next dose of it is after 10-20 days and thus is always a suprise to your body.

I didnt read the whole thread, what else you have tried beside herbs, cialis proviron?

@HighT So Cialis eventually did work really good this weekend on the second dose.
I've tried before K2, Pansterone, Androsterone, Ginseng, Boron, B1, caffeine, Citruline. Taurine...etc

I did recent blood tests, not specifically related to hormones/ androgens, but included Total and free Test and SHBG.
I'd be grateful if anyone can offer some insight.

Lipid markers came out optimal/ excellent: HDL, LDL, Triglycerides.
Low Vitamin D: 25
HOMA score for insulin resistance came out a bit higher than ideal. Good glucose levels, but high-ish fasting insulin.
Low Testosterone: 275 ng/dL
Very low SHBG: 17, below the minimum optimal value

As a background, I have gut issues and also mild fatty liver.
What would be the main reasons why my total Testosterone is so low?
My theory is overburdened liver caused by endotoxin overload. But would that affect Test so much? Not sure.
Low SHBG would be a sign of liver issues, again. Liver issues will lead to sub-optimal glucose metabolism.

The liver is so central to overall metabolism and physical health. A lot of metabolic processes are happening in the liver.

A. Poor liver function leads to poor thyroid hormone conversion and thus lower ATP production, lowering steroidogenesis which needs T3 to convert cholesterol into steroids.
The tricky thing about this is that hypothyroidism can cause liver issues as well. So chicken or the egg situation that needs blood work analysis. Many do have normal thyroid labs, but have „euthyroid sick syndrome“, pointing more towards the liver as a cause of low metabolism.
B. Poor clearance of hormones (like estrogen/prolactin) via the liver / biliary system places a burden on androgen synthesis and activity.
C. Low bile secretion and excretion leads to SIBO. Bile acids sterilize the small intestine.

@youngsinatra I started taking a quality Lactoferrin with Colostrum product as you recommended it for bile secretion. Not feeling anything different from it, might have to increase the dose.
I think doing Carnivore 3.5 years ago was bad for my liver.
And fructose overconsumption/ and generally caloric excess tends to fatten the liver.

My labs looked identical to yours in 2021, low SHBG and super low testosterone (150 ng/dL). At the time I felt like completely garbage so I think it's indicative of some systemic health issue. I think your gut issues and fatty liver is probably causing the low T levels. After I fixed my gut issues my SHBG went back to normal-high and testosterone at 600 ng/dL, still not optimal natty levels but better than 150.

I think I’m going back to predominantly Carnivore. I had my highest levels of Testosterone , total and free, on the diet.
And see from there which carb sources can work for me. Will try to get 100-150g carbs/ day to stay out of Ketosis.
All that fruit juice, Coke, sweets have wrecked my teeth, I’m experiencing rapid demineralisation. Also gave me a fatty liver.
Fodmaps make me bloat.
Too much sugar and too low protein makes me feel like a eunuch.

For the past week, I’ve been getting a solid morning erection almost everyday. And not quite sure why. I’ve changed location temporarily, and also used TUDCA, a B complex, and Benfothiamine last 2 weeks, but stopped any supplements this week, as I left them at home.

Guys...my latest bloodwork results came through. I am getting desperate here. My Testosterone levels dipped even lower, to 175 ng/dL.
To put it briefly, I have:
- very Low Test
- Low Estrogen
- Low LH and FSH
- 2.45 TSH, which indicates mild hypothyroidism
- liver enzimes significantly lowered (good sign, my fatty liver is improving)

A quick search would indicate secondary hypogonadism.
I messed around with Proviron for a bit, could that have messed up my Test levels even lower?

Have you ever tested your pregnenolone, progesterone, DHEA or cortisol levels?

Never. What value would they have? I’m assuming they would be in range, since I’m young.
I once tested blood cortisol levels, they were upper range of normal/ high, but I understand cortisol testing is not reliable.

If your T is as low as it is, I doubt that any of those values would be in range.

Yeah, but what solution would those tests offer?
Low LH and Low FSH indicate secondary hypogonadism.
I personally don’t think they would offer much considering what you already have. What’s your vitamin d level?

How long have you been living at your current residence? Have you tested your residence for mold?

Ok, so I looked back at my 2019 tests when I had my highest T levels at 420 ng/dL.
LH and FSH were also quite borderline low, and TSH was over 3.
Surely could a at level of over 420 mg/dL would not indicate hypogonadism? But then again, that was almost 4 years ago.
