So there are a few threads that people talk about on how to increase dopamine but i was hoping to gather some anecdotes on peoples actually experiences.

i am looking to boost dopamine in a way i can keep up and not experience side effects. I prefer to have the body stimulate its own production.

i always thought testosterone increases dopamine.

interestingly here in the study it shows that its the other way around. Mucuna pruriens: more testosterone, more LH, less prolactin

Perhaps testosterone production is under the influence of dopamine production

Aspirin + benfotiamine + caffeine + creatine + p5p + phenylalanine + pqq + taurine.

Best drink plenty of sugar with. Like a litre of pineapple juice.

Also iodine and methylfolate.

Any proof that iodine raises dopamine? In my experience, it raises cortisol. Which might give you temporary illusion of increased dopamine, but it is completely different thing

Not directly but indirectly through iodine's necessity for thyroid hormone production and thyroid hormones' subsequent modulation of dopamine activity.

If you're afraid of the Wolff-Chaikoff effect, you might either err or the lower side of iodine supplementation or you may prefer supplementing with T3/T4 itself.

Nearly all minerals are crucial for thyroid function (copper, boron, zinc, selenium etc.), which I think gets lost when talking about iodine.

Absolutely, and you could probably link all of those to dopamine, which is what the OP is interested in. But I wanted to keep the size of my recommendations list finite :D

I understand, and I think this is why Ray emphasizes certain foods like oysters/liver so much, because they are the only practical and straightforward ways to meet those requirements without going nuts with keep track with countless nutrients/minerals

100%

If I could eat 5-10 fresh oysters everyday, I would happily.

Limiting screens and social media, eliminating porn, masturbation, and any drugs would be the first step in my opinion.

according to haidut, caffeine increase dopamine release more than anything else

Also caffeine has lot of other benefits:
- increase metabolic rate 3-11%
- decrease cortisol
- anti-estrogen
- stimulate thyroid
- Protects Blood-brain Barrier From Endotoxin Damage
- Prevents And Slows Liver Fibrosis, Cirrhosis, Cancers
- acts like a sunscreen and prevent skin cancer
- lower serotonin levels

it depends. if your cortisol and adrenaline is already so high then it's going to have a negative impact on you.

Mucuna will mostly increase your adrenaline/cortisol. And regulate serotonin. Otherwise for me the nofap.

@haidut its your time to shine now.
listen man, many people have digestive issues, very high cortisol/adrenaline levels. If that's the case then coffee cannot lower cortisol. If you feel overwhelemed and anxious after drinking coffee, it's probably increasing your cortisol levels
