In general, I am satisfied with the blood values, but also only because cortisol and testosterone have improved significantly since my last test.

This time I had RT3 determined as well and lo and behold, this value is actually too high.

I would like to have an opinion from people who know a lot about the blood test and also get some advice on how to lower the RT3.

I am 35 years old and weigh 93 kilograms. I am just now starting to track my calories to see if I am eating too little and therefore my RT3 is too high.

I am looking forward to your answers.

Kind regards

The RT3 is quite high. I think chronic unresolved inflammation (gut related, mold exposure, stealth infecton) and chronic stress (lack of sleep, too many stimulants, bad work environment, stressful relationships) can elevate RT3.
Metabolic stress (not meeting your metabolic/caloric needs) can raise it too.

Did you recently had an infection or so? That could also raise RT3, momentarily.

What are your symptoms?
