The cocoa bean has a seed coat or bran with a high content in DF, particularly insoluble fibre [8]. The composition of cocoa-derived products depends on the botanical variety as well as on genetic, agronomical and food processing. In contrast to chocolate production, the bran remains present in cocoa powder, thus being a good source of DF [9].

I'm more worried about chromium content.


I eat a lot of chocolate and my chromium on a hair mineral analysis was on the upper end of normal.
