I eat coconut oil and also oil pull with it.

But I used it on my hair and it left a rash on my scalp!

And recently I woke up and noticed a wrinkle in my eye so I began applying coconut oil to my skin and it seems safe, but I notice feint red dots on my cheek, like a rash.

Allergies??

ALSO i may have used too much, so the oiliness could cause the irritation and not coconut oil itself.

Thanks

Hmmm, refined should be less problematic I would think unless it's some cheap stuff that uses hexane to extract the fat from the pulp. You may just want to try less so as to not leave much if any greasy residue. You also may want to try virgin as it would have some vitamins and minerals in it.

Update: I get it now, coconut oil doesn't absorb into my skin
so that's why, it just sits there all day, so make sure your skin actually absorbs the oil
